Here's the thing: Last Word is a weapon that strongly thrives in 1v1 engagements, just outside shotgun ranges. This makes it and incredibly versatile weapon in Free-For-All and Objective types with single-target battles. But now that Last Word has been nerfed to remove the hip-fire bonus damage, it is near impossible to get more than one kill between reloads. So, let me do some basic math. Last Word does 75 to the head and 50 to the body. Minimum health in Crucible is 186 and Maximum is 221. That means The Last Word will kill at three headshots. At best. The Last Word has wild recoil. Even with Perfect Balance selected, it is a bit crazy. So factoring in missed shots and body hits, let's stay you end 1v1 engagements with between four to three shots left. Now, that's four shots left. At best. That's probably not enough to get another kill without a reload. So, here's how I see this thing getting buffed: A 1-2 round buff to the magazine (To possibly get more than one kill at a time), 5-15 increase to stability (To place your hits more accurately) OR an addition to the Exotic perk to add mulligan (To help remedy the fustration of dying because you realize you suck at Crucible and can;t land any shots) <- [That's probably just personal experience.] I hope you agree with this and if not, let me know why. I wanna know. Edit: Just now reading all the responses and addressing them. Yes, I do have a pretty average amount of skill with this gun, so you can stop saying that. Next, The Last Word is far from being "Over Powered" it is not as ridiculously strong at close range as Doctrines, Soustealers or even Universal Remote. If you want to talk Over Powered then mention Universal Remote. That thing hits at Felwinter ranges and never runs out of ammo. Third: I KNOW HOW TO TAP THE GUN, but then it doesn't kill fast enough to compete with other weapons.
