Are we, as a community, not seeing, in game of course, how much we have affected the City's fate? Think about it for a moment, our first achievement was liberating a shard of the Traveler from a Hive dungeon. Next, we destroyed almost a dozen high value targets. We destroyed the heart of the Black Garden, one of the many that supposedly exist in the confusing Vex timelines. Our Traveler has started to heal now. Then, we hone our skills, sharpen our blades (so to speak,) and conquer the Vault of Glass, a stronghold of the Vex that was molded and shaped by their wills, to be a world where they ultimately ruled. We infiltrated a paracausal sandbox of gods and survived. After we finished the task of Kabr's fireteam, we practiced even more, unknowingly preparing for Crota, the Prince of Darkness's return. We plunged into the pits of the Hive, the abyss where Crota festered. We killed a god, though it was a difficult task. His final scream into the Universe disturbed an exponentially more powerful force that we had yet to know of. Then, Skolas, the Fallen's false prophet rose from his prison, causing more trouble than anticipated. We cut his armies at the knee, crippling him, and capturing him. Then, we toyed with him, ultimately killing him for his bothersome appearance. By now, we knew that our Traveler was protected well. Then, came the distress of the Phobosian Cabal base. We ventured, seeing what was to come of the City if we didn't act. The threat of Oryx, the Hive god king, father of Crota loomed over the Traveler. But, after a long, drawn out conflict we prevailed, wielding various weapons of paracausal power by now. Oryx still lives, but as an insignificant tool for our use, hidden, trapped in the Ravenous Heart, a component of the Touch of Malice. We fought Oryx's second prince, Malok, of course, defeating him and his remaining Taken army. We have slain MULTIPLE GODS. We have won COUNTLESS WARS. We wield many weapons of PARACAUSAL POWER. Now, ask yourself. Are you ready to face the threat of the Devil Splicers in far reaches of the Cosmodrome? We won't know until we face the cyborgs head on, full force.
