Any advice to make the junp from 300 to 335
Me and my buddy have just started playing again, but we've had trouble finding a raid team to get to help us get gear. So is the only way to hit 335 through the raid? Or can we do regular prison of elders since we have no more destiny friends :'(.

CoE, Exotics and strike specific drops, Iron Banner (when it's working lol) is quite generous. Shaxx weekly bounties and Trials (you get it) bounties are another way.

Do 41 PoE and Challenge of Elders, you'll get blues higher than 300 which you can infuse. Also exotics will drop higher than your light so you can infuse or use those. IB, Trials can give up to 335 from the package rewards. To quickly get to 330 upgrade Vanguard, Crucible, gunsmith and factions. Their packages top out at 330-when don't this though I think they only drop UP TO 5 points higher, so whenever cashing them in always have your highest light gear equipped. Also, Shaxx bounties.

Iron banner (when it happened) Coe Faction rank ups. Then court of oryx for a 335 item. Done. At 334 on all my alts now doing just those.

Just gather and save a bunch of engrams (at least rares, the lowest) then decrypt them all at once, there's a chance of u getting some higher light level gear for infusion fuel and even legendaries from rares. But it's best to do this when u have A LOT of engrams, at least when your inventory is full.
