I'm seeing wayyy too many posts calling out the dreaded Shoulder Charge.
"It's OP!"
"Throwing Knife got nerfed so should Shoulder Charge!"
"It rewards you for running!"
It's not OP in the slightest. If you let a Titan come at you full speed when you have a State of the Art, Handy Dandy thing called a Radar you deserved to be knee'd in the face.
There are plenty of counters to Shoulder Charge let's list some:
Primaries
Secondaries
Heavy Weapons
Grenades
Melee
Supers
Teamwork
Agile Movement
Running away
Wow looks like pretty much anything will stop it.
All in all Shoulder Charge is fine. No need to nerf it.

The fastest AND toughest subclass can ohk you and cool down resets in less than 6 seconds.... evidently that's equitable! Perhaps you gravitate toward your crutch more than you care imply. Tldr 1st in speed 1st in armor Ohk Crutch.
-
Think about if some one were to uirinate on you. You literally would watch them walk up to you, unzip and let go. Then once you saw this, you didnt move or straight up punch them. Same thing as shoulder charge, you see them on the radar, then see them running at you full speed, and do nothing to counter...
-
It's not OP. It's stupid. The whole idea of a OHK melee is dumb. That goes for backstab too.

Edited by Hunter-Max99: 6/21/2016 5:08:40 PMThe ability itself is fine, what needs to be looked at is the tracking. The shouldn't be able to run pass me, press R1 a meter behind me and then turn 180 degrees and hit me with his knee.

Edited by Acari: 6/25/2016 6:36:47 AM>implying during PvP that's intended to be fast paced that you're constantly looking at your radar >implying all game modes have radar anyway >implying 100% of PvP matches have good teamwork and communication. Spot on mate.

Edited by Combo164: 6/24/2016 4:08:57 PMI like how everyone keeps saying huntards and what not and that hunters are the only class that cries. I remember back in year one, man the tears of titans were overflowing. Oh my melee sucks Blink shotguns needs nerfing because titans cant blink Blade dancer is op cause it's a mobile super GG is op because it's a mobile super FoH sbould be like a mobile super in someway Arc/flamebolts are op, titans dont have anything like that My bubble sucks Flameshield is a shield on hit not kill Anyways, simplest fix to SC is have it cost a melee charge. Oh what it'll eat up storm fist? Well guess what now you'll have to decide if SC is worth the use and losing your melee charge for the next engagement, similar to how hunters lost their nade and melee if using wombo on ond enemy . Would also give purpose to skullfort and monte if cool down is an issue and the storm fist perk to shorten cool down. Oh stormfist will lose its purpose. Why use it when both SC and SF use a melee charge? Well stormfist can shorten super cool down or act as a AoE melee, so it'll still have use. Also the radar arguement is so tiresome. If all people had to was check their radars, then I'm suprised shotguns are/were an issue. Not only that, but it's not like ADS doesn't remove your radar or anything..... ever in a 6v6 play list, engaging an enemy only to get sideswiped because you didn't have your radar. And please dont say use third eye cause then you're saying a gun perk is needed to combat a perk.

If bungie nerds shoulder charge it proves they succumb to bitching faster than Sean Connery and jimmy Fallon combined.
-
Happens to everything in this game. No use, it's as good as dead now that the nerf babies are on the case
-
No nerf it
-
No shoulder charge is the problem. If shoulder charge only work in a straight line then it shouldn't kill me when I turn a corner or jump above then.
-
-
Actually, if you run max armor it can't kill you... Good post btw

Edited by OutlawRacer666: 6/25/2016 3:32:53 AMAbsolutely 100% wrong. It does need a nerf. Tripmines were the last defense to shoulder charge and they are gone.
-
If you can't take them down then die quietly and get better at the game I'm not that good in pvp and if I die I don't go on a b#tch rampage ,I just crack on and try harder
-
Smartest thing I've read all day. And I bet you are getting lots of shit for it too.
-
Exactly. If you can counter someone running at you for five seconds then you deserve to die. #Tamponmasterrace

Edited by Kwips: 6/23/2016 4:22:20 AM"Agile movement" Right because there are more agile things than the titan, like things that can jump farther or faster, move across the map or run away faster..... oh wait, there isn't, hunter should be but are in every way slower and second rate to the titans movement, just sayin
-
When you play inferno and all the titans main game plan is to run around the map shoulder charging and never firing a bullet, I think there is a problem
-
In my opinion shoulder charge isn't the problem. It's Titan skating, allowing the tank class to move around at lightning fast speeds and be able to carry a one hit kill melee with that is ridiculous and just leads to a warrior play style with no tactics involved. But let's face it, Titan skating was never intended by the developers and it is a glitch that needs to be patched like the shadestep glitch was.
-
Exactly. And Throwing knife shouldn't have been nerfed either. Bungie likes to fix things that aren't broken.
-
My only issue with SC is one can slide and still use it.... just doesn't make since to me
-
I'm kinda annoyed at how it locks on but shoulder charge is cooooool.
-
It has too much melee assistance IMO.
-
Why are people attacking Titans? Thats just low even for the community.
Not a Titan Main.
-
People are whining about Shoulder Charge? That's sad.
No I don't main Titan.
-
True story.
and I main huntard
