BUNGIE......bring back the mighty THORN!!
I've seen some of the year one weapons come back refined and repainted...but come on...the thorn is one of the most unique weapons in this destiny universe.. Whats YOUR opinion on this? Should the almighty THORN return remodeled or should it dissapear forever????

2 RepliesThere was a time i used it in a build centered around poison and traps, and Thorn is the only part of the setup holding it back from Trials and Banner. Although, its poison hardly even exists anymore :(

3 RepliesI'd like to see a quest line centered around righting dredgen yor's wrongs (or at least rekindling the legend of the guardian who became dredgen yor) that ends with your character purifying thorn and receiving the original rose (the gun, not the hunter artifact ) as a reward.

3 RepliesI'd rather see an occasional thread asking to bring it back than the nonstop flood of complaint threads that happen when it's useful. There is no way they could make it useful without making overpowered. If it isn't OP people will complain that isn't any good. If it is OP, people will complain that it's too powerful and rewards shitty players. Personally, I think it's better if it's just not relevant.

5 RepliesThorn is the reason why HC's in general are in this spot today. It's had its time and its time to move forward and remove the accuracy nerfs applied to all HC's so they can compete consistently as they used to.

I want the Magnum Spinae. A full auto exotic thorn shotgun, nine bolts in the magazine, +2 movement speed, rangefinder, "a rose by any other name" - double kills give you a bonus round whuch splits into7 smaller bolts with tracking and extra poison. And they explode. I miss exciting guns.

3 RepliesI'd like to see it come back. The DOT barely does anything, and is way less effective than a fire bolt grenade. Plus, it suffers from the typical hand canon phantom bullets.

5 RepliesThorn is worthless in its current state, year 1 is where it needs to stay, pvp crybabies will just cry more if it's year 2. It's not worthy of an exotic slot currently. It's not that I don't want it back. It's that pvp babies will cry foul and down further into the ground it will go

Played a match with Thorn last night to get my 10 HC kills Shaxx bounty. It's still good, probably about right now that the poison doesn't wipe em out completely.
