People don't like battleborn pvp because it's more about strategy and not pushing up too far, rather than running and gunning like most other pvp games. Overwatch pvp is thrilling and I get why a lot of people like it, but please stop comparing overwatch and battleborn because they are completely different. -
Overwatch is the first Multiplayer only game that has fully sucked me in. The gameplay is so smooth, the characters are all interesting, balanced(for the most part, looking at you JUNKRAT!) characters, and amazing maps. I was gone paying 60 for it, and I'm not regretting my decision. Battleborn does nothing for me. Plain and simple. It feels like a watered down version of Overwatch's multiplayer. That's my opinion of course.
-
Please stop comparing them 1: Because they are so different that they can be put into different game genres and 2: Despite battleborn actually being a good game it's just been swamped by all the publicity and praise from reviewers of overwatch
-
I've enjoyed Overwatch from what I have played but not sure if I'll pick it up. =/ Have you enjoyed either?
-
Dark souls 3 enough said
-
Not overly a fan of either. Can the remake of Savage just come out already!?
-
Overwatch, i tried both betas and BB had annoying controls and was too confusing. Even after researching the whole helix thing, i still don't get it.
-
Play overwatch if you're looking to stare at ass 40+ hours. Play battleborn if you like 2k games
-
I personally prefer overwatch #meiisbae
-
Battleborn because it's actually worth the price. Overwatch just has too little content for $60.
-
They're not even the same genre. You can't compare them
-
Overwatch by far. The characters are very lovable and all have interesting backstories along with different play styles and roles in a game. The gameplay is very fun and simple. Blizzard will be adding new content all for free including characters, maps, modes, skins, etc. And the most important part about Overwatch is that it is just plain and simple fun. Most shooters try to take themselves too serious nowadays and try to make things more complex where Overwatch is just here for one reason, to have fun.

They're both really fun but more people like overwatch because it's strictly pvp. I like to have coop and PvP in a game because I'll get bored of its just one or the other.
they both have lots of characters with lots of different play-styles so both are great IMO
-
Edited by Dgf dylan: 5/26/2016 7:24:07 AMI have both but IMO Game play is fun for both overwatch and battleborn, all dlc will be free for both, but battleborn has no micro transactions, the gameplay is very fun and somewhat simplistic for both, while the characters all have pretty unique character design, in overwatch you only play a character in one role or one play style. But in battleborn you have 3 different play styles for each character (not hugely different but still different) and more characters as a whole, which adds a lot more variety and uniqueness to the game. I have overwatch and i love it but, the only thing it really has going for it is the fact that its made by Blizzard.

Can't be compared but OverWatch I like

Edited by Britton: 5/26/2016 12:04:04 AMBattleborn. Funny and awesome character interaction and dialogue, and each character can be played and leveled up differently each time you play it, and those choices affect that character play style significantly. There's also nice progression, loot that doesn't overshadow good player skill, and unlockable perks on each character that you earn by playing them a bunch to be added to the choices you can make each match. Battleborn just has way more depth, and more game modes. Not to mention they are already starting to add new characters (free), pvp maps (free), and pvp game modes (free)

Having a lot of fun with Overwatch, so much in fact that I made this in Halo 5 forge last night! http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Roffle/screenshot/4274942

Is Battleborn a FPS? I'm too lazy to look it up.
-
Overwatch feels a lot better to me. Not a fan of the art style Battleborn took, not to mention that cringey sense of humor.
-
Battleborn felt like I was playing at 20-30 FPS. Destiny runs at 30 but it feels smooth. Battleborn felt clunky. Would've loved to play the campaign but not spending more than $10 for a dozen missions or less. At this point, I'd rather just wait for Borderlands 3 (and still need to play BL:Pre Sequel). They have similar art styles and play similarly but Borderlands will have a big open areas and plenty of missions. Overwatch lacks a campaign but will offer free characters and maps. It is also smooth and 60 FPS. Also, there are a good number of options for custom games. Play vs. AI online was a big point for me, personally. I just hope they add some different game modes. I feel like Overwatch offers the better PvP experience which is clearly the focus of both games.

Neither tbh
