I've been arguing with my fiance who feels like titans are to over powered, the hammers are to strong and they get to many. Shoulder charge is to easy/shouldn't one hit, etc.
The issue I have is that she doesn't have a titan, she has never used shoulder charge, and she has never used hammers. She didn't even play destiny when hammers we're at their peak so she never saw the original hammers.
I can admit that shoulder charge could use an intrinsic cool down similar to the twilight garrison / shade step (I haven't unlocked it, but I've been told there is a cool down.) I told her that if shoulder charge didn't one hit kill it would be pointless and she countered with "then make throwing knives one hit kill on precision hits and remove the double knife perk and I argued that throwing knives are way longer range and you could throw them instantly whereas shoulder charge actually has a charge time.
My argument was that she should play as a titan and see how these abilities actually are to use before calling them over powered, but she doesn't agree saying that she gets killed by them enough to see how easy they are. What are your thoughts?

She should realise that being killed by an ability often means your strategy does not effectively counter said move, and the saying "don't knock it tell you try it" comes into play. She won't fully understand until she plays the class.
