Help - Understanding Spektar Armor Infusion

So I've been looking to really dig into my armor stats and maximize a couple of different builds. I received a couple sets of the Spektar armor and started toying around with them but thought I would ask the experts here a couple of questions. 1) When you first infuse them do they take the base level stats (intellect, discipline, strength) or the upgraded (perked) level stats of the infused armor? 2) If you update it with another piece of armor that has an even higher level of (intellect, discipline, strength) - are these stats stackable? 3) After you infuse (the Spektar piece) with another, one of the upgrade perks in it Increase Discipline or Increase Strength. I assume that this will activate an additional amount of Discipline or Strength? Thanks - i could test this out myself but thought it might just be easier to ask here. Figured this could be an awesome way to use something like Crest of Alpha Lupi to infuse into it, get the 100 Intellect and then chose - Increase Intellect - to increase that even further, while not using an exotic in the slot.

  • If you view them while they're level 3, you'll see the stats are already there. The amount of int, dis, and str they have will increase with the light level. Nothing about the armor you are infusing into your spektar set has anything to do with the final stats on your spektar set except the light.

  • Just like with any other infusion the only thing that is transferred is the light. The first time they are infused the stats are randomized. What set of stats you get will be based off whatever stat increase node you have on it. So if it has increase Intellect and Strength Nodes then the set of stats on your armor will be the same After that it follows the normal rule for infusion in which on light level (defense) is transferred. All the stats stays the same.

    • Well if you inspect the piece you will see that it already has int/dis/str on it, infusing it will bring those stats up to level with other armor pieces of the same level.

      • Prob covered below... The gear keeps whatever stay nodes is has. Increasing the light level will increase those stats a little, but you can't change them. Same with perks. You get whatever the armor nodes show. Only thing you can is light level and the stat increases.

They are already set to have intelligence, discipline plan and/or strength. So say the spektar armor is intelligence and strength and your infusing it with a piece that has intelligence and discipline. The spektar will put whatever the discipline is towards strength. If you inspect the spektar piece it will have the nodes already. Once you infuse it the 1st time the stats are locked, only the light will change with another infusion

        • The int dis str stats are just hidden. Equip it and you'll see your current stats change. It only takes the light level.
