Anyone else's super not feeling so super anymore?

Just asking. I used my Hammer of Sol the other day on your typical vanguard heroic strike, and the damage to my targets was almost minimal. It's this way with other classes as well? Since when did my primary cause more overall damage to a single target than my "super" ability? Edit: Great responses! Maybe if we complain as a PvE community we can achieve PvP results!! Edit: Keep those responses coming! Eventually Gizmo, or Cosmopolitan, or whatever his name is will have to listen!!! Edit: To clarify, I used HoS as an example, but meant Supers across the board. I'm not solely complaining about Titan awesomeness

  • Sourously...I think storm trance got screwed. .im mean I doint mind "less time" on storm trance...But I should not be able to be one shot in the head while in it. I can't tell you how many times this happened during this Iron Banner. Before the nerf, never happened unless someone shot gunned me in the face..also thunder strike does not work at all. I actually wish they would just bring back the pree nerf subreaker and storm trance at least they were even then.

  • I hate how nova bomb and storm trance as well as HoS seem useless against bosses: you just put yourself at risk for a minimal drop in their armor! A super should be more effective than a freaking sniper shot! Seems like they are only useful for groups of adds, which is totally backward!

  • They need to increase the dam Orbs made back to normal. I nova bombed 4 dreggs and 1 Knight.. Killed them... 2 Orbs.... Voidwalker makes almost no orbs anymore. Who loved it when you could kill two yellows and get 8 orbs. Now you never get 8, unless you wear the dam exotic piece.

    • As an "ultimate" they are pretty weak. I remember when fist of havoc could wipe majors and spawn a lot of orbs. Can't do that much now. 3-4 sun charges to kill 1 major? Or 1 raze lighter special to do it?

      • Lol I've noticed this around Crotas end. When you would have to weaken the knights on hard the use your supers... That was dumb.

        • I feel like the blast radius of annihilate shatter was reduced greatly. I throw my nova bomb directly downwards onto a group and they manage to avoid any damage simply by jumping vertically. Am I the only one experiencing this?

        • The number of people bitching or mention pvp in a Pve discussion is the cancer the festers in this community. Stuff is nerfed or underpowered/underwhelming because pvp players bitched about them in the first place.

          • I went back to Defender; finally gave up on Sunbreaker. If I'm going to be doing weapon-based gameplay anyway, I might as well at least be an orb fountain while doing it. Ward of Dawn might not feel like much, but it spits out 5 orbs if I can pop it in a place that's under heavy enemy fire. That plus iron harvest will keep my mates popping [i]their [/i]Supers on a regular basis. Trying to turn lemons into lemon meringue pie, I guess.

                You wouldn't feel "super" even if you were. That's a natural result of constant exposure to the same thing. It becomes "normal". What's new and creates awe is only new once.

                • I hadn't used golden gun in a minute, I find it very dissappointing in pve and PvP. The tripmines and throwing knives were on point though.

                        • I feel like hammer if Sol damage isn't terrible, but it's almost as if there's no shield during a super. I've gotten killed by one shot during my super, but if I attempted to shotgun an arc warlock, they can take a hit pretty easily. That's my one complaint

                        • Supers feel pitifully underpowered in PvE. A bladedancer should cut through a swarm of fallen, not just scratch their armor. A golden gun should melt my enemies. Instead, I may as well be throwing hot coals at them. Fist of Havoc should devastate swarms of enemies, not just push them back. I want to feel like Thor or Hephaestus when I'm flinging fusion-bomb hammers at the Cabal. Even the Vex just flinch at most of my Nova Bombs. Isn't there a way to modify supers without ruining PvP?

                        • I agree hammers are becoming lacking to me, and I'm back to running striker or bubble for crucible. I was playing on my hunter yesterday and I was on my arc blade and it also felt lacking. Though yes, I did go unbroken, I still would be getting two kills per super or so and the razor's edge is also quite bad now, in my opinion.
