How would you react If god was real and if he wasn't.
Non believers: How would you react if it was just proven that God was real and you saw with your own eyes evidence of his existence? As well as biblical events that turned up to be real.
Believers: How would you react if God was disproven and seen actual evidence that God was in fact a mortal man/fake? As well as an archeological fins of his tomb/ or whatever.
Would your life be different?
Extra: Would you ask God anything if he was proven to be real? What would you ask?

If he wasn't real, I'd get really depressed. Just knowing that everything I've done was for nothing and the things I did would be forgotten. Knowing that life doesn't have a meaning. I'm a religious person. I'm not the type to talk about it alot. Too many a-holes and bigots. [spoiler]I'm looking at you Atheist people.[/spoiler] [spoiler]Not all of you. 1 ReplyWord of advice, I am an Athiest (I can already feel salt churning within some people 'round the world) If it was proven that he does exist, I would ask him if his last message to his creation (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) is true or not, then continue to live life like a normal -blam!-ing human being. If it was proven that he does not exist, I will continue to live life like a normal human being.

I'm glad I lived my life the way I saw fit, not reverting to something I didn't even believe in just because it's "safer." Nothing would really change for me either way. I have work to do so that I can pay for things so I can live for the next 60+ years, and I have a partner to find; unless God is gonna actively help out with that then it doesn't matter to me whether he's real or not.

That being said, I would simply accept it, and that's that. Know what's super interesting about some of these replies, though? Lots of theists saying they would be depressed, or something to that effect, if God was not real. Lots of atheists, on the other hand, seem to be saying they would be angry at God if he was real, blame him for the bad things that happen, and question him about it. Really says a lot... lol Pretty interesting thing this post has revealed here. ;)

If not real, I don't know what I'd do. We die and that would be it. Just nothing. Pretty depressing to think about.

Epicurus (c. 341 - c. 270 BC)[/quote] And if not real, then nothing changes for me. The thought of religion would be shunned as a proven denial of reality. Culture would shift immensely either way.
