After thorough testing with various and numerous hand cannons after 2.2.0 was released, I wanted to say that it appears to me hand cannons have better ADS accuracy and FAR less phantom bullets now. I am able to have more accurate quick-shots and be more accurate while firing quicker while ADS. Even though the patch notes say hand cannons only recieved more reserve ammo, it appears to me this was a 'silent' buff and I hope it stays if that is the case. In turn, hand cannons are now far more rewarding to use and feel like they take more skill than "luck" again. Even The Last Word isn't half bad because of this buff--and makes the loss of the bonus damage less severe. In conclusion, if this is in fact, true, I wanted to thank you Bungie for fixing hand cannons and my favorite weapon archetype. If anyone has a different experience, feel free to add! Edit: I was sorely mistaken. Hand cannons are not as accurate as initially thought. After much time has passed and I have realized this. My apologies for spreading misinformation. Hand cannons are still innaccurate with many phantom bullets. Hopefully one day they will at least be ACCURATE again.
