Rex's eyes began to glow white as slowly moved forward in a trance like walk. His body jittered and made awkward grinding and jerking noises as the lights along his body dimmed and flashed in a spastic manor. Tae Ken stood behind him with pride as he gave a laugh. "That's it boy. Sick 'em." Rex replied with a slow droning growl. The tethers that held us hissed still to nothing. Laurentine immediately spun around and planted two sniper rounds into the Wizard holding Natasha, letting her fall to the floor. Angelica stood rather still as I aimed my sights on Tae Ken. "What did you do to him?!" Tae Ken simply grinned and waved his hand as me. "I like playing with my food before devouring it." Rex paused and slowly shifted to face me. "Him first." Rex growled in response and shuffled towards me. I continued to aim at Tae Ken as I backed up slowly. "Release him." "Nah. I want to see what happens when metal and oil goes against flesh and blood." He continued to grin as he leaned against a wall leisurely. "Just remember I have him in my grasp." He flicked his hand and Rex's arm bent in a strange angle before snapping back. "It won't end well for him or you." I gritted my teeth in frustration and pointed my scout rifle at Rex. "Come on, fight it." As Rex drew closer to me, the lights on his right arm suddenly turned a deep blue/blackish color. It flexed and grabbed the left shoulder. Rex suddenly stopped in place as if held back. The white eyes rolled to look at what was happening. As the white ooze began to pour from his mouth in anger, the jaw snapped back into place and turned the same deep blue color. It moved and a deep male voice came forth. "Initiate Alpha mark one dot three." Rex suddenly spazzed out violently. The eyes turned off and every white light was purged from sight. They all slowly turned red as the left eye emitted a soft red glow. The deep voice spoke again. "Alpha." The red eye pulsed brighter and it snapped to look to the right. The right eye soon turned deep blue and looked left. "Keep that thing at bay. We lose Rex otherwise." The red eye hummed slightly then faded. Rex slowly turned and the deep blue eye looked at Tae Ken. "You have no control over us. No inferior lifeform does." Tae Ken stood still for a moment, a slight frown on his face. He raised his hand and pale flames came forth. "I said move." Rex tensed up slightly but didn't move otherwise. Tae Ken growled and held his blades in his hands. "Why does everyone ruin my fun?" "You were ruined to begin with abomination." All the lights turned deep blue and Rex took a fighting stance. I grinned and pointed my rifle at Tae Ken. "Rex is stronger than tha..." "Be quiet lifeform." The deep voice cut me off. I blinked and looked at him. He stared back with coldness before looking at Tae Ken again. Tae Ken growled in anger. "Alright then..." He waved his hand forward and Taken portals began to show up all around us once more. "Come fight and see who really is the weakest." Rex charged forward and drew both of his hand cannons, fighting fiercely with Tae Ken. Soon Taken were all around us, along with a giant Taken Knight that roared angrily at us. I began to take out some of the enemies. "Angelica, help Kate! Laurentine and Natasha help me thin the crowd!" Angelica nodded and quickly made her way to Kate who was still oddly sitting on the floor in shock. Laurentine turned invisible and went around killing things with his sniper. Natasha quickly began shotgunning things around her. I tried to focus on keeping the enemies off of Angelica and whatever came close to me. The large Taken Knight continously roared and spewed flames from its mouth at every turn, causing everyone to constantly move about. I kept looking to see how Rex was doing. He was somehow holding his own but now his lights were red once again on the left and mysteriously Taken white on the right. I couldn't here the banter but Tae Ken did not look happy at all. He stared coldly at Rex as he parried all of his moves with precision and his body was constantly jittering like the rest of the Taken as well. An explosion of thunder drew my attention as my HUD began to phase in and out slightly from an overload. Natasha was in Stormtrance and she was blindly shocking everything in sight. Her voice was raised and near cracking as she spewed foul words at whatever she was hitting. Orbs dropped left and right as she thinned the crowd and harmed the large Knight badly. Her Stormtrance dropped and she began using a machine gun to mow down whatever was left. After she began to reload for the second time, a Taken Wizard appeared behind her and grabbed her neck. It chittered angrily and raked it's claws along Natasha's face with vigor. Natasha cried out as parts of her face began to show under the damaged visor. I started to move that way when I heard Tae Ken scream at the top of his lungs. "Enough of this!!
