This site would be the best way to find PC players. I'm happy to see the Archive being mentioned, but I'll be the first to admit we're biased towards Xbox, and have few PC players.
On that Inara site you should make an account, and just look around. Post in the introductions thread, explain your situation just as you did here. Check out the wings, those are your private groups.
The Archive is always here if you have more questions. LFG is a small part of what we do currently.

Sweet. Thanks! Most of my questions have to do with planetary landings though so I'm not sure the Archive will be able to help that much. Still a resource, nonetheless, I'll keep it in mind.
