=The Taikonaut Chapter 6=

If this gets out today, irregard the last chapter’s edit. Well, here we are. Due to the community’s love towards the house of scar, Ghost and Sasha will be talking about it. And, a view of the house of scar through a lowly dreg. Chapter 5: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/177151279/0/0 |=============================| “Well, I still want to talk about The House of Scar.” Ghost answered Sasha. “What about them?” Sasha replied. “What we’re going to do about them.” Ghost’s voice tensed. “We’ll wait for them to resurface, fight them, kill them all, and then profit.” Sasha counted her fingers. “But how will we-” Ghost stopped. Sasha hushed him, and raised a pointed finger, indicating ghost to be quiet. She pointed out the window. And there was an orange dreg, staring in. |=============================| Jaik was separated from his band. He had made for his secret stash of ether seeds, to find that they were gone. He needed them. All he had was one seed left. He wished he had stayed with the group. “*I hate this barren moon.*” Jaik said, in a hushed tone. He had walked over ten miles of barren landscape to finally come across a pair of human habitation areas. One was nearby; it had a particularly bright orange coloration, like some of the helmets he had seen on dead humans. The other one was half a mile away. It looked as if it were just sheets of metal. A makeshift human t was a few yards to the right. “*Wonder what humans use those ‘t’s for…*” He came up along the side of the habitation area and looked in a window. One way glass. “*Damn.*” Jaik needed to find an ether seed. Most pods had at least some stashed away, from previous fallen. He would check this one first, then the one across the field. He popped his last ether seed and sat down. *Why would the house of scar hate traveler? It brung peace before the whirlwind.* Jaik was recently born, just 30 years ago. He hadn’t earned his second pair of limbs yet. His archon was cruel and bitter, never allowing him, or his other dregs to so much as wander. Which he had done. He thought of the city, and human’s safety, and the ability to be who they want. And when he looked to earth, he saw hope. Well, that, and the barrel of a pistol in his face. “Who are you? What are you doing here?” The Taikonaut yelled. He had no idea how to speak human language, so he spoke eliksni. “*Guardian!*” He reached for his dagger. “*Agent of the traveler!*” It kicked him in the stomach. “You can’t speak english, huh?” It kicked him again. He didn’t want to die. He wanted to know what four arms felt like. He wanted to kill his archon. That’s when he looked up. Her finger was compressing. |=============================| Sasha, after kicking the dreg repeatedly, looked down at the dreg, and saw fear. Sadness. And hope. Hope? What would he be hopeful about? But she also saw her. Back at the twilight gap. Tears began to form at the corners of her eyes. She pulled herself back together. Then, she remembered the sulking dregs in the bunker. She lightened her grip of the trigger, and knelt down. “Hey…” Sasha said, softly. “I won’t hurt you. Well, anymore.” She held a hand out and lifted him up. |=============================| Inside the pod, ghost was working on translating the dreg. “Clickhissgujuhisscl- did you help me?” The dreg said. Ghost’s translator was working. “*You looked scared, dreg.*” Sasha was surprised that what she thought was not what she spoke. “Many ‘dregs’ are scared, guardian. We are the tiniest of all fallen.” The dreg looked down, at the table. “*You seem different. Like you want change.*” “All lower fallen in house of scar do. All need-” The translator garbled. “-traveler.” Sasha remembered house of scar’s motive. “*Do you want to destroy the traveler?*” Sasha leaned in. “I don’t. Only the archon still does. He killed the kell when he said our motives were pointless.” “*Are you sure?*” “I only know from my captain. The archives are locked to lower fallen.” “*Oh.*” Sasha was distressed. She’d killed so many of dregs, just like this one. “*Well. How about I help you, for a favour?*” “What is that deal?” “*I get rid of your docking caps, give you my entire supply of ether, give you a luna map, and send you on your way.*” “And the favour?” “*I want my ghost to link with you.*” Ghost appeared. “*You’ll give us information on the house of scar. With all my ether seeds, you should be able to grow into a capitan.*” Jaik nodded. “I will not forget this. Thank you, Taikonaut.” “*Don’t mention it.*” |=============================| Jaik was walking back to camp. Humans are much kinder than Eliksni. I wish I was human. He thought. He blent in with the rest of his pack. He pulled a banner off the ground and shrouded it around him. He would help the Taikonaut. He would help her kill the archon. |=============================| Well, that’s the end of this chapter. How’d you like it? Any suggestions? Any salt? Really, I need it for my fries. Next chapter, we’ll be touching more on Danny, specifically Danny being hunted by Sasha. Hint:
Danny will be annihilated.

It will also be a Collab. With who, you ask! That's for you to find out!
See ya! Chapter 7 will be here soon… And trust me, It'll be a doosy! Right, Zebra? Chapter 7, part 1: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/178037347

I don't mean to be a grammar freak, but "brung" and "brang" are not words. Instead, you should use "brought." I am just trying to help!
