How to share gear with friends

Hi Bungie and Guardians! I totally understand how dangerous it would be to share items and gear with other players, since it could open the window to some players taking advantage and selling stuff for real money. But I really think we should be able to, and I think there’s a way. Here’s how: the player has to be a friend for a while, and not a recently added one, in order to make any transaction with him/her. How much time? A couple weeks or months would be enough in my opinion. That way I could finally give to my friends stuff they want and I don’t use, and the other way around :) And let’s face it, random drops are exciting, but sometimes bad luck is just too much… What if I have two Last Words and my buddy has wanted it for months without any luck? Giving the spare one to him would be so much fun and make the coop experience even better.

The perfect answer is actually a lending system. One friend lends his buddy the item he wants but he only keeps it for a week or until next weekly reset. This way your friend sees if the gun is worth it. Can use it to help them self. And your spare gear gets used. Also put a price that goes to the lender. Like 25 legendary marks. Otherwise people would exploit this by like buying tons of a weapons blueprints and then just rural cash for a lend.
