So playing in iron banner and every death is a sniper head shot. everytime. no exceptions. it doesn't matter how i move fast or slow jump or slide. This team i went against i was watching the kills and they all had the little headshot symbol. I don't know what to do i've tried everything i can think of to fight back but i come around a corner and i die, i peak to see if anyone is there and i die. If anyone has some advice i would appreciate it.

In order to defeat them, you must become them
-
Pincer attack or flank
-
Axion bolts
-
-
I usually sigh quietly to myself, then mash the respawn button. Then I go play pve.
-
Convince them to enroll in the stormtrooper training program.
-
-
In all seriousness the jackolytes
-
Flank them. All you need is some willing bait and then you have a dead hot shot or three.
-
-
Congratulate them cuz you got shreked
-
Shoot first
-
Have you tried a smaller helmet?

I'm reading all this... And bigger maps would make up for most of it. That's not on you op. How to combat current scenario? Scout rifles have worked pretty good for me, they don't always get that head shot. Only played a dozen or do rounds this iron banner though

Edited by Lord Yesua: 1/30/2016 11:01:41 AMYeah I've noticed an increase in the amount of people using snipers since they nerfed the shotguns. This is what I've been doing to counter them: 1. Use the d-pad to enter third person emote to peek corners first if there are a lot of snipers in the match. 2. Don't walk round a corner; slide, jump, or blink instead. 3. Hug the walls and cover in a game. Imagine what you would look like in third person (Is my head covered?) 4. Use a max agility build with the MIDA and a sidearm (the Havoc Pigeon or the Ironwreath-D are very good). The Mida is great for dealing with snipers when strafing at medium range, and the sidearms are great up close because sniper users don't have decent cqc weapons. The rof on sidearms is faster than TLW and functions as a counter imho. 5. Don't use the well known sniper lanes. Approach from an angle outside of their scope bounds. If possible flank the enemy. Alternatively, you could try using a sniper yourself. It is not as difficult to use as people make out when they say it takes 'skill'. Make sure you use a low zoom scope (as most of the maps favour medium-to-close range combat). Peek once and shoot. Don't peek again if you miss. Move somewhere else. If you know someone is going to come round a corner, make sure to ads ready for the kill.

Step 1: fall back. Step 2: try to flank the enemy. Step 3: if flanking the enemy has failed then run for your life. Step 4: lead any who decide to chase you into the rest of your team. Step 5: if that fails or some other misfortune happens all you can now is try to survive. Step 6: by any chance you managed to live then move on to a new idea. Step 7: when you don't have a new idea then..... look guardians I have nothing more for you go talk with that Shaxx fellow he might be able to assist you in your endevours.

You dont. Thats what my kd says

Edited by Packis: 1/30/2016 3:19:13 AMYou stay with your team and wait for them to get the enemies weak, when your team mate retreats because of low health you can sweep through and kill maybe one or two people before running away yourself. With snipers run high agility and a shotgun. Also the last word because face it, anyone who is sniping mostly uses TLW so you might as well. It's really effective against MIDA close range too so yup. Of course I just run blink for shotfun kills. Avoid Doorways and walking around corners, they will hard scope. Your best bet is to jump around the corner or re position yourself somewhere high since they could not be checking their radars.

Blink and shotguns work. Flanking works. Try to avoid any choke point for snipers. Doorways and hallways, etc. Don't come around a corner at head level. High caliber rounds go pretty far. Auto rifles with HCR seriously duck up their aim. Expose their weaknesses.
-
Try to flank them, it is much easier with the hunter, I must admit, but still possible with other classes. I switch to my bladedancer every time I face those campers, so I can go invisible and catch them by surprise and then go crazy with a shotgun.
