Good morning, today is the fourth consecutive day I have been unable to connect to Destiny servers due to recurring centipede errors. Let me just say that there have been some very awesome community members who have tried to assist me so to everyone who has tried to help you are the wind beneath my wings. Despite the community's best efforts this problem has not been resolved or even acknowledged by Bungie. I have read the forums and network trouble shooting guides ad nauseum but I believe the underlying issue is with Destiny servers.
My network is nat type open. My xbox one has a wired connection. I have 0 percent package loss. I am connected to the Internet and to Xbox live multiplayer. I have 21.52 mbs dl speed, 6.666 mbs upload speed, 1480 mtu and 85 ms latency.
I have tried resetting my router. I have tried clearing network cache by unplugging and restarting my xbox. I have tried reinstalling Destiny. None of these common trouble shooting quick fixes are resolving my centipede errors. Recently, in addition to centipede errors I have been receiving a cannot connect to Destiny servers message well.
I believe the underlying cause of these errors is a recent anomaly within the Destiny servers based on the following data
1. My network setup has not changed and I have over 16 days worth of game hours logged, thus my network setup does not prevent me from connecting to Destiny servers under normal conditions.
2. I have not had difficulty connecting to Destiny in the past with my current isp and I can connect to all other online applications and games using my current isp.
3. Many other Xbox One console users have reported receiving the same or similar connection errors with Destiny servers over the past week.
Bungie please acknowledge and address this issue.
