Hello all! My name is Neon and Ive played destiny since it first came out,
Im more of a laid back player and enjoy playing for the fun of it, but lately have kicked myself into gear and got serious about crucible specifically. Ive been looking all over the forums for a world leader or top player, or any awesome player one Xbox One to teach me some forms, and techniques on how to have the best edge over the enemy. Tonight I ran 2.00+ K/D, 22 Kills 10 Death games etc and my overall K/D ranges to .95/1.05, average or so. Ive really wanted to find someone in the community here who wont be too harsh about my achievements in this game, I dont care much about Grimoire, raid attempts, achievements and such, its just stats :3. My GT is
NEONjabAWaKI
I would LOVE to find a teacher, I would appreciate it so much and I do want to become better so I can help my friends out with their time in PvP :),
Please give me an honest rating on my stats, they are pretty dull I know Im sorry >_<... But Im just getting started, thank you,
EDIT: PM me please if you are interested :)

It really depends on the situation you are in at that certain moment. But I could give you a few tips on surviving more. Tip#1: if you are next to a wall and an enemy is about to come across a door next to you, get above the door by double jumping or gliding as you anticipate when they come through. This is helpful because it tricks your opponent that you are just around the corner and they will be caught off guard, it can also come useful when you have low health but want to survive. It is better to be using a shotgun for this and only maps where there is enough space above doorways, such as pantheon. I only use this for close quarters engagement. Tip#2: be patient, watch radar and never ever chase after someone. Chasing someone can have consequences especially if they are good players. The next thing you know after turning a corner is you're all of a sudden dead from a shotgun blast or sniper headshot. And if you do decide to chase after someone, make sure you can kill them And be wary of the surroundings, that is why your radar is important in knowing where the enemy are or might be. Tip#3 experiment a bit, know the maps, use different approaches(weapons) for different maps. Sometimes a sniper will benefit you more than a shotgun on some maps and vice versa. Maps like asylum are more geared towards shotguns but I prefer using a sniper to snipe of people at b just across the room. You will find your own method in crucible, just keep practicing and do not ever get angry, blocks hr thinking.

Just keep this in mind: no matter how bad you are, you'll never be as scrubby as me

Equip the last word, thorn or mida multi tool and a thousand yard stare or whatever the best shotgun is now.

If you really want to improve, watch MTashed's Crucible School and all of TrueVanguard's videos. They brought me up from a .83 to a 1.43.

Edited by Elite 529: 1/19/2016 6:03:09 AMMake sure to never get into something you can't win like a two on one with no cover for you. Always try to be unpredictable with your movements. Remember, if you're planning on doing something like coming out from cover a second after being shot, the person is most likely going to be thinking the same thing as you. Just be prepared for everything. Also, as a side note, never chase enemies. It will usually end with you dying. They'll run and camp with a shotgun around a corner or wait for you to peak with and get you with a sniper. Instead see and predict where they are going and plan something in order to surprise them. If you're thinking it, they're probably thinking it too. Keep that in mind. The last tip would be to watch Mtashed and True Vanguard on YouTube. They have great tutorials that go into far more depth then I can on these simple forums. Good luck.

I think people are being a little too biased in the polls for some weird reason. .95-1.5 is pretty average. I'd say just work on your loadout and subclass tree and find you best setup. I'm on One as well, But my group is more raid focused.

I see no profile. Ehh good luck though.

Nice to see more nice people on the forums
