I got called strange today.
So I was told by a friend that people think I am strange today. I think it's quite odd to be called strange and wonder am I. While I am a little eccentric in my own way, who isn't?
I am a man in his late 20s, married and who works abroad. I enjoy playing video games, watching TV and spending time with my wife who is my best friend. Is it strange if a man likes to be with the people and things he loves.
Granted I don't go out and drink socially or hang around perving on girls as I am a grown man now. I also am really comfortable being on my own and if I am not with my wife would rather be on my own and do my own thing. I could also be classed as quiet or serious if you were not close to me then you wouldn't see the playful or silly side of me.
Everybody is strange in their own way and should be comfortable and embrace it. What is something about you that people would call strange?

I've heard 3 things, all from different friends, about how I walk and act; like I don't care about anything, like the living embodiment of minding my own business, and I believe my personal favorite was "Everything you do either looks sarcastic or depressing" (It's okay, I know that particular person is a sarcastic asshat almost on my level).

I'm weird af, but certainly don't hide it. I'm a furry, have an odd taste in music for my background, like to hang out with people from a completely different culture from me, etc. The list goes on.

1 ReplyStrange isn't necessarily always a negative comment. Strange can sometimes mean interesting or just different. Maybe its difficult for others to read your mood.

2 RepliesHalf of my music is video game related songs made by youtubers, most of them are pop songs I normally wouldn't like, but because of the changed lyrics I do. There are also some original songs in there. 80% of the YouTube songs is shitty quality or sung by someone who can't really sing but that's okay because it's made to be fun to listen and not to be perfect. The other half of my music library is your regular depressed teen metal and then there's a small percentage popular rap songs. I've let some people listen to a couple of game related songs but no one seems to be really into it. I've been searching all over the internet for people who also like that type of music, haven't found one yet. I guess it's "weird" that I like that type of music, because I haven't found anyone that does too or that is into it as in depth as I am. I listen to it daily, because it's different from the other songs I have in my music library, they're not about love or other real life struggles but they can make me feel sad/happy/hyped.
