Soldiers of 7ight is one of my new clans in the Army of Prose alliance. There is a clan set up and dedicated for every games console that Destiny is on, four of these are 18+ only, and two others are under 18 clans that cater for different manufacturers of consoles. Every clan uses an app called groupme, part of the stipulation of joining one of these clans as a clan member (group only members are exempt at having to sign up), is you will need to sign up to the clan's specific groupme chat room. We use this chat app to communicate with each other and for organising events and teams using the apps calendar function. Photos and videos can be shared on this app. Every member will have their name set up in the format of "First name (gamer tag)" to make it easier to identify, and add each other. At the moment, Soldiers of 7ight is still in it's early stage of development. Compared to my playstation 4 clan, which I started in September 2014 and now has over 140 active clan members and a strong active organised bunch of admins. Soldiers of 7ight will eventually follow suit! Raid Teams will be set up once enough members join up, and in the same time zones. To begin with, ad-hoc raid groups will be set up using the groupme app, and eventually permanent weekly raid groups with the same members in them will be set up. Destinyclanwars.com is a site that hosts PvE and PvP events every week. It's just something extra that all our clan members can participate in. Once you have a clan tag you'll be entered automatically into the next event. My two playstation clans are currently enjoying competing against each other. Admins positions are open to those with enough time on their hands to help organise things. The list of available positions can be found in the group's forum, once signed up as a group member. Above all, all my clans are run as social hubs, the groupme chat can hold up to 200 members per room.
