[spoiler]This installment of Exotic History is made possible by Paradox1055[/spoiler] "So can we help?" Asked Blitz as Arteron and him slowly followed the Hunter who had given up on running. "No..." Said the Hunter plainly. "Ok... How about now?" "No...." "Now?" "Don't you two have other things to attend to?!" "Nope." Said Arteron. He was lying on his back on his sparrow while thumbing through an upgrades magazine for Exos. "Nu uh." Blitz was sitting on the front of the sparrow so he could talk to the Hunter face to face and controlling the sparrow with his feet. The Hunter sighed. "Why?..." "Because you were the cause of the thing that we were supposed to find. So by orders we have to follow you." "Unfortunately..." muttered Arteron. The Hunter looked at the two Guardians. "Since you have nothing better to do than pester me, I'm curious. How did you two get in a fireteam." "I was going solo for a while. Then he showed up and wouldn't leave. That's about it." Arteron motioned towards Blitz with a hand wave and went back to reading. "Seriously?! No cool back story? No nothing?!" "Nope, stupid puppy followed and I got to take care of it since I feed the thing once." "Oh come on!" Grumbled Blitz. "It was much cooler than that." "But that's the gist of it." "It was much cooler than that." Blitz Ghost popped up. "It mean seriously we are obviously a lot better than a stupid puppy! Maybe a Great Dane... or a Boxer... or a Boxer Dane!" He sounded EXACTLY like Blitz and had the same armor color as well but he had a bright green core for an eye. "Yea Blaze is right! Obviously better than a puppy!" Arteron snorted. "Princess is more of a dog than you two combined." "She's just a b****..." Grumbled Blaze. "Princess?" Asked the Hunter. He felt a small tug on his leg. He stopped and looked down. A cute looking brown Ghost with a bright pink bow on its head was standing there. It seemed to walk with its shell as well as float. "Aww... This little Princess?" He gently scooped the Ghost up and petted it gently. "How can you say she's a b****?" Princess blinked and suddenly growled, all cuteness fading in an instant. It's core turned bright red and it launched forward and chomped down on the Hunter's helmet with its shell. "What the f***?!?!?!" The Hunter scrambled back and tried to pull her off. "Down!! Down! Bad doggie bad!!" "Well I did warn you... She's a b**** as in a literal female dog aaaand that sort of b**** when it comes to people." "Get her off!!!" Arteron whistled. "Princess." The Ghost stopped immediately and hopped down onto Arteron's chest. It's core returned to normal and it stood on its shell, panting and wagging it's 'tail.' Arteron smiled. "Did you get that mean old Hunter, did you?" Princess barked in excitement. "Yes you did." He scratched her underside as she rolled over. "Yes you did." The Hunter stared at the display. He repaired his chewed helmet and continued walking with the two Guardians in tow. "So where are we going?" Asked Blitz. "Nowhere... I'm just walking." "Well that's boring..." "I find it fascinating..." "That's still boring though." Said Blaze. The Hunter sighed. "Never mind..." They shortly ended up in the Ishtar Cliffs and were continuing to walk though. Soon they ended up in front of the Vault of Glass. The Hunter stopped and looked around. "Well... this is odd... Tues place should be swarming with Vex..." "They probably realized I'm here." Said Blitz. "No that's just stupid." "Seriously I come here all the time and beat the snot out of them!" He swung his arm like a hammer. "It fun to watched tear apart and burn!" "I prefer the burn to the tearing apart." Said Blaze. "Well they are equally cool but burning and tearing apart go hand in hand with my style." "Good point." "I don't even care or want to know..." "He finally learns." Said Arteron without even looking up. The Hunter pulled out the strange Suros weapon and walked towards the gate. It loomed on the hill in the distance, quiet and still. They stopped at the first capture gate. The Hunter hopped into the gate and looked around. Nothing happened. "This is even weirder." "I'm telling you they don't appear here cause they know I'm here." "Blitz... pipe down let me think." The Hunter looked around and scratched his head. "This isn't right at all...." "Maybe you aren't holding your tongue right." Grumbled Arteron. Princess barked in agreement. "Does that even work?..." asked Blitz. "Well how would you know? You never tried." Blitz paused and thought about it. He shifted his head in several different directions as the Hunter looked at the plate. "There has got to be something..." He accidentally pressed a strange switch as the entire field rumbled in fury. Blitz almost fell of his sparrow. "Holy s*** it does work!!" Arteron simply chuckled a bit. "This is going to be interesting later." Soon Vex began to pour out of nowhere and march towards them. The Hunter aimed up and shot a few down. "Help me out here g..." He heard the frightening sound of a Sunbreaker as he looked behind him. Blitz held the mighty Hammer of Sol in his hand. "Finally! Action!!" He leaped up and charged forward, quickly decimating everything in his way. Arteron stood up and pulled out a scout rifle. "Keep up." He said as he took out several Vex before following Blitz. Thank you all for tuning in!
