With the upcoming Sparrow Racing event
I have to wonder about the Sparrow Physics/Simulation dynamic
and if it's going to improve.
Currently, Sparrows use 'Arcade' physics, not 'Simulation' physics.
note,
the 'boost bar' is depleted based on user control inputs -how many times you press the button
not based on actual Sparrow engine output / fuel / etc simulated factors
Don't you find it strange, that you can afterburn forever as long as you don't touch the controls, but rapidly tapping them depletes the bar even if actual motion and time travelled is less?
while from a game balance point of view, Arcade style physics is workable
its also sort of anachronisic given the overall tone of the rest of the game engine -ie, we aren't playing Mario Kart
Thoughts?
People who play flight sims, serious racing sims, and physics majors - you know what I'm talking about, please comment

They'll need to incorporate more classic racing stats into the sparrows with slight variances so it isn't just everyone driving in single file hoping the one in front hits a rock.
