The reason I'm bringing this forum up, is that on my last forum about Crota's end a few people commented "If you want the gun so bad, go solo HM for it if you want it that badly!" "If you can't solo the raid NOW then you don't deserve the gun." Now... honestly I wouldn't think much of it, as other people responded to those comments instead saying "But part of the raid is doing it with friends." "Having a group makes it more fun." Really now I know the excitement that comes from soloing an event. I enjoy soloing Nightfalls, hell my first Nightfall I solo'd was a Void Burn of Phogoth in Y1. Got a Ghorn for it, that felt amazing. I can only imagine how the guy in the video I linked felt when he solo'd that Trials run. But the joy of group playing... as an MMO is normally supposed to be played, is having fun with your friends. Making some experiences and moments. Hell, without a run through with my friends there never would have been jokes of: Friend 1: How did you die this time? Me: I fell in the hole... Friend 2: Must have used to much lube. With friends you make moments, and more content is available to you... solo you make accomplishments (granted you can do that with friends too) But the thing I want to ask is... who gets the better experience and monies worth: Solo players, or Fireteams? Yes this sounds a lot like who has more fun, blondes or brunettes.
