The team of warlocks slowly walked down the cave tunnel. For the first part, no one spoke. Isaiah did not appreciate the silence. "Hi ho! Hi ho! To kill the Vex we go!" Everyone looked at him. "What?" he asked. The warlocks looked forward and started to sing. "Hi ho! Hi ho! To kill the Vex we go!" "D*** you, Isaiah!" shouted Dakota laughing. "Haha!" Isaiah looked at him and laughed as well. The guardians followed the twist and turns until they entered a large trench. "There's a chest." Master Jal pointed to a cylinder in the room. Everyone opened it. "What do the Vex want with ascendant shards and energy?" asked Clara. No one answered, instead, they shrugged their shoulders. The team marched down the tunnel. At the end of it, there were several floating rocks. Everyone stopped, except for Daniels, he wasn't paying attention and about fell off. "Daniels!" Dakota lunged and caught the hunter's cloak! He yanked him back, then smoothed out his trench coat. Daniels was taking several deep breaths as he laid on the ground. "See, we tell y'all our cloaks are useful for something." The warlocks looked at each other. "Get up, hunter." said Brian as he yanked Daniels onto his feet. "Who are you? I don't think we have met." asked Daniels. "I am Brian. The second in command of the Scholars." answered Brian. "Anymore questions? Okay, good. Let's get moving." demanded Master Jal. The team began leaping from one pillar to the next. The raid team reached the final pillar, which was quite simple. Just walk along the wall. No one up front jumped down, they waited for everyone to catch up and catch their breath. "Welcome to the Templar's Well." Master Jal pointed to a large Vex Hydra in the distance. "How do we do this?" asked Brian. "I don't know. There's no directions on how to beat the Vault." answered Master Jal. "We can't pull a live and learn moment here. That will be too risky!" shouted Brian. "It was too risky walking through that gate. Now look at us here. Here is how I see it: shoot anything, and make sure no Vex sacrifice themselves to those confluxes." Dakota grabbed Brian's shoulder and spun him around. After a moment of forming a strategy, the team jumped down and surrounded the conflux. But the Vex surrounded the guardians as they tried to reach the conflux. "Keep shooting!" cried Master Jal. "Cover me, I'm reloading!" shouted Isaiah. "I got you!" screamed Brian. "Dakota! Fanatic on your left!" warned Clara! "Thank you!" replied Dakota. Dakota shot the green glowing Vex, and a puddle formed on its grave. "I wouldn't touch that, guys!" shouted Master Jal as he saw the puddle. Brian looked at the hydra. "Take cover! The Templar is on to us!" shouted Brian as he hid behind a wall. Everyone hid as several axion blasts from the Templar exploded! Soon, the conflux began to disappear. The warlocks looked to the now empty spot, then to each other. "Is that good or bad?" asked Daniels. "I.. have.. no.. idea." answered Dakota. "The Templar is summoning his legions!" cried Master Jal. Fifty fanatics spawned, all coming after the guardians! "Oh s***!" yelled Isaiah. "Weapon spree!" yelled Master Jal. They were dropping Vex like crazy, but one got too close! Brian stepped into the pool! "D***! I've been marked!" he shouted. Master Jal looked around worried! "There! Go to the pool of light!" Master Jal covered Brian as he ran to the center of the room. "Hurry!! The Templar is starting his ritual of negation!" shouted Dakota. The Templar started absorbing energy for the ritual! Brian reached the pool of light right as the Templar radiated with the ritual of negation! Brian returned clensed. As he returned to the group, two confluxes formed. "Split up! Split up!" shouted Master Jal. Clara, Dakota, and Daniels took the right conflux while Master Jal, Brian, and Isaiah took the left conflux! The Vex were easier to handle since they were splitting off to different confluxes. After ten minutes of endless Vex, the confluxes went down. "The Templar is summoning his legions again!" The team converged at the center of the court. Clara summoned her radiance and tossed several grenades at the fanatics! Once the Vex were killed, THREE confluxes formed! "Same thing guys! Three teams of two!" yelled Master Jal as he ran to the center conflux with Brian. Clara and Dakota stayed at the right conflux, and Daniels and Isaiah took the left conflux. The Vex were harder to handle now, since there were only two people at each spot. After another ten minutes of Vex, the confluxes disappeared. The team converged at the center once more and killed the fanatics! Fifteen minutes passed, no new confluxes, no Vex waves, and no attack by the Templar. "What's next?" asked Daniels. "I don't know. The Templar has a solid shield, and we have nothing that can pass through it." answered Master Jal. "Do you hear that, Honey?" asked Clara. "Hear what?... that?" Dakota looked around the room. Several glowing boxes appeared in the room. Each one made a distinct chime... a chime one cannot forget.
