Being a couch patato could be bad for your brain.

On top of inevitably making you a big ol fatty, a new study suggests fitness levels in older adults have a substantial effect on the strength of connections between the different regions of the brain.
The study suggests that cardiorespiratory fitness improves long-term brain function in elderly people and strengthens neural connections. The researchers found that fitness level which is determined by how effectively someone uses oxygen during a physical activity had a significant effect in the strength of connections between the different regions of the brain independent of the amount of physical activity they did.
So being healthy doesn't only make you look good, and feel good. But it could also benefit your brain activity too. Build those healthy habits now!
read: put down the fast food and exercise some.
