Fabian strategy needs a buff.
The weapon itself is GOOD. Not great. You can do decent damage with it, but its not worth the exotic slot. The front lines perk looks good on paper, but in reality, it doesnt affect the gun at all. I petition to make the increase in stats from the front lines perk more apparent. Turn the gun from a normal weapon to an exotic tool of a titan. Make it reflect the titans characteristic of brute force and power. Make this gun exotic.
*edit* im happy people are reading this and agreeing. (For the most part.)

With the "buff" it's getting in the new update it sounds like it will be better but the fact it will change to a billet hose archetype when front lines is active I think might hurt it more then do good. But the rest of the adjustments to the weapon sound like a good idea. Also I hope the add a in game notice of when the front lines perk is active that would help a TON!!

Eh. I shared mine. It was decent, just no impact. I'm more of a scout rifle guy, myself.

1 ReplyThis gun is basically a good, like You said not great auto rifle with 3 decent perks instead of 2. It doesn't really have a standalone exotic perk.

This weapon lack purpose/theme. I would propose it be upgrades to a perk that allows the Titan to fire out of their own bubbles. If they have Weapon of Light or Blessing of Light effect, It would have additional benefits or separate benefits. This would allow them to synergize with other Defenders.

This gun sucks. Ace of spades is great in pve, Tlaloc is amazing in everything, and Fabian Strat is great to take up vault space

Slow reload and low stability along with mid fire rate and high impact would do great in my opinion of capturing the Titan in this gun

The Hunters get an exotic fatebringer, Warlocks get a scout rifle on roids, and Titans get a... well a mediocre assault rifle. I've had several legendary ARs, even bad ones, pass through my inventory that could perform better than the Fabian Strategy. In short Bungie needs to buff the exotic perk to actually be noticeable when it works, cause right now if you try it out it barely does a damn thing. Just look at a few video comparisons and they all show it does virtually nothing to affect the gun's performance.

11 RepliesYour not actually taking that idiot Kackis seriously right? The same person who can't use any skill based weapon to save his life? The one who constantly bitches and complains because something isn't god tier? The work is fine, works great in Crucible and PvE because of its higher DPS compared to other Autos. The perk is wonderful and great for dishing out a ton of damage in a small period of time. It's like Tlaloc, but an Auto Rifle form that requires you to be closer than most weapons require.
