So I was playing some skirmish just a few minutes ago and I joined a game in progress on Widow's Court, and well, ill let you see the screenshot. So once I got in the game, I noticed the scores immediately. so I hung around for about 3 or 4 minutes to see if there was any blatant cheating. It didn't look like anything was off, other than the score being so ridiculously high, and the timer being stuck at 0:01. People kept dropping in and out of the game so its hard to tell who had started the lobby. I guess you could farm crucible score like this, but other than that I don't see too much reason to even do this....
