Edit: Figured it out. If you haven't gone to Cayde after dread patrol you are fine as long as you don't have a sword equipped you will get a broken will from eris. Old post [spoiler]If you have a 280 legendary sword in your inventory when you go to Shaxx after beating regicide for the first time it will skip your reforge the sword quest "A Broken Will" making it so you can only get 2 instead of 3 swords. Abandoning the quest doesn't reset it staying at "A sword reforged" quest. Please fix this. I'll be doing a final test tonight to see if I can get it again before it looks like resetting my character may be the only option. It looks like I activated the quest "A sword reforged" from Shaxx after leveling my main characters sword on my third characters regicide. So my best guess is that character took over the quest line or hopefully I was too early. I abandoned it and I'm going to go see if I did dread patrol or not when I get home to hopefully have a chance to start "a broken will" on my third character.[/spoiler] My Titan is carrying my hunter's sword's "a sword reforged" quest. My Titan hasn't done "dread patrol"yet to do "a broken will". So I don't know if these will conflict now. Hoping my Titan just has to do two sword bounties. I'll probably just not do "dread patrol" until I complete one exotic sword bounty then. Edit: Looks like I'll be completing my first exotic sword bounty on my Titan then starting the sword bounty and transferring it to my hunter to get it all straightened out. Others have mentioned bugs will the exotic sword so it sounds like you just shouldn't transfer them.
