Audio glitching
In the Prison of Elders, the sound will go silent at random, becoming more and more likely the game goes on, almost completely except for sparse sound effects, like the tone the mines make when the timer begins counting down. It does it in matchmade games and fireteam games.

I have also experienced this and i seen [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/155786399/0/0]another post[/url] about the same exact issue and gave a, work around fix for it which you could take a look at. Or read the spoiler? [spoiler]Restart the game. What I mean by that is try and close it completely. I am not sure how it works for PS4 since I do not have ether of my PS4 system anymore, but I know I have issues with the sound on XB1 after turning my XB1 off and turning it back on and jumping right back into the game (without quitting it first since the game keeps running since the XB1 goes into a "sleep mode?") Not sure if PS4 does this (I know for a fact PS3 doesn't since I did play Destiny on PS3 for a while.) If that doesn't work try unplugging and draining all the power out of your console and plug it back in. Hopefully this is something that can be fixed cause I started noticing it after the TTK came out and I have been getting these sound issues in some strikes, The Tower, and in The Prison of Elders.[/spoiler]

This problem only happens to me in social spaces. I have not yet played Prison of Elders since the 2.0 drop.

I had this exact same issue, makes it almost unplayable unless you focus 100% to every small detail of movement on the screen. And it's even worse when the mines come out.
