Mausoleum scented chest puzzle/run
I solved the chest key in the Mausoleum. I don't see a post so I decided to make one.
In the Mausoleum at one end you will see a light thru a wall in the distance. If you go as far as you can towards the right of it and use your ghost, you will see rocks to jump on. They lead to both platforms (left and right). The left one spawns immortal thralls. There is also a chest that says "the scent is the key".
On the same side of the map there are doorways for empty rooms, one of them has a cave with a normal loot chest. STAY in there and you will be charged with the scent.
You have to practice the run back to the chest, only one minute and no time to call up your ghost for the jumps. It is a nice coordination/agility challenge but know that I did it with a Hunter with the new subclass so all can do it.
Have fun and don't kill the messenger.

Actually there is a way to go on the ledges on the left wall leading to the platform use a sword and it'll be easier.

Forget the platforms if you are skilled enough you can go on the left wall. You can land on the side of it. Hold a sword to make easier and faster

1 ReplyTo all those why don't mind cheese, you don't have to use the platforms. The left wall over the chasm has small ledges that you can land on/jump off. Took me a few practice runs but hell of a lot easier (and faster) than trying to hit the stepping stones against the clock.

It's easier when u get friends to stand on the platform my friends and I did this a bit ago helps a lot.

2 RepliesNot sure if many people know about it as no one ever seems to do it but, as a Titan if u sprint and repeatedly spam jump with increased air control, you move ridiculously fast due to your jet pack boosters. Love racing against people down strike corridors doing this :)

I had a couple of goes and nearly made it... Gonna get a friend to stand on the platforms so I know where they are in advance

You don't need o go to the right side guys, Titans (confirmed) can hug the little creases in the left wall and sprint there

Got it on my third try last night. You have enough time to pull you ghost out and still get across. Use the ghost to see the next 2 jumps then repeat. Should get across with 19 seconds to spare still.

I memorized the puzzle and didn't put out my gum and didn't have anyone help

I discovered this one by accident. I hid in the cave to stay safe while cleaning out my inventory when the timer kicked in. Love these little puzzles scattered everywhere.

I help random people by standing on the platforms and guiding them. Makes it a lot easier. To all who dont know..... PULL OUT YOUR FING GHOST ALREADY!

1 ReplyIt's been known since day 1 or 2 bud. At least, those who paid attention. I'm sure plenty missed it and will see this post then, so good job. I had to actually get the chest 5 times on the same character. "The Thralls don't see you" they said. Yeah, well, they did push me off the edge once and away from the chest trice.
