Oryx will be 300 light in the new raid

It is likely that the recommended light level of the new raid will be 280, but the final boss of the new raid will probably be at 300 light. 1) The recommended light of the new raid will be 280. It is stated in this article that quotes Luke Smith about The Taken King: http://mashable.com/2015/09/15/destiny-taken-king-bungie-tips/ 2) Bungie’s past actions indicate the light level of the final boss (and surrounding enemies) in King’s Fall Normal will be higher than the recommended level. In all the past normal raids the enemies started out at the recommended level. As you progressed through the raid the enemies increased in level. By the time you reach the last boss fight, everything is two levels above the recommended level. It is likely that Bungie will do something similar in the new raid. 3) Evidence points to the final boss fight in King’s Fall Normal being 300 light. In past raid the level of the boss fight is always two levels above the recommended level. The reason an increase of two levels (pre Taken King) translates into an increase of 20 light levels, is because before the Taken King DLC if you are more than two levels below the recommended level you were not allowed to even start the mission. Now if you are more than 20 light levels under the recommended light level you will not be able to start the mission. Using this to create a comparison between old & new power differences and assuming Bungie will do the same things regarding power requirements, it is safe to say the final fight in the King’s Fall normal raid will be 300 light. Please feel free to comment.
