Weekly What's Update
Here we are at the end of another fun-filled week. New matchmaking playlists, new maps, it was crazy, that's for sure. This week, a wee bit of news about the new maps. Including screens. Because we love you.

wow i love some of the things u guys at bungie did u guys really did a good job on the new maps(bought the killtact pack) and some of the matchmaking games r really fun and stand bying is very rare and u guys will ban them in time. Double Team and Team Preveiw was also a very nice touch too. but when ever u guys do something good, u always end up dissappointing me in some way. WHAT WAS GOING THROUGH YOUR f$%^$ING MINDS WHEN YOU PUT TWO WRAIGHS ON BUIRAL MOUNDS WHY WOULD U MAKE PISTOLS IN DOUBLE TEAM WHEN U MADE THE MAGEUM SUCK U SAY U GUYS WANTED TO BALANCE OUT THE WEAPONS AND GERNADES AND U MAKE THE PLASMA A 1 HIT KILLER other than that keep up the good work and stop being retared and doing stupid things cuz u think its funny

you bungie, what the -blam- is up with matchmaking, the only new map that i play is wizard, and i -blaming- hate wizard. although this is annoying, i love the new game types, and the BR start. i still think that you should get rid the plasma pistol altogether, 1) because no one uses it except for the combo with the battle rifle 2) since the combo is noobish it reduces skill so people become noobs and suck 3) the games on colosuss are so much better now that you start with BR and there are no PPs

It might be only me or a bad connection but some times when i shoot someone with the shot gun cant hear the shot but I can still kill ppl what up with that. Even today i went to assassinate some dude and when i hit him it made the noise but he didnt die (then i got sniped ) wtf?

Yo Frankie those maps are crazy!!! cant wait i dont know where else to post this but today May 10th i was playing with one of my friends on double team, and all the players we played with were like 17,18, and 19. ¿¿What is up with that?? i thought bungie fixed that.... well i was a 16 and now im close to be a 14 what can i do?? Glitching is something bungie at least I believe intended, they purposly leave easter eggs for people to find on the maps, they only fixed rocket glitching because it was being abused. And im sad they had to fix it, but at least there are still ways to get up there (Seriously who doesnt like glitching?). i agree chunk. "do the truffle shuffle" lol i love/hate the shotgun and if i was a spartan with some hot computer chick running through my head all day, i would be able to -pump- that gun a lot faster than that. fo sho!

I agree, it's funny if when you think about it. This game takes place in the future, and we're stull using AR (asult rifles) and shotguns.

bungie i have a serious question: to many people this doesnt come to mind, but doesnt the shotgun kinda suc, i mean, it has absolutely no range and *WORST* of all it sometimes doesnt kill in 1 hit point blank. Also, with experimentation (forgive my spelling) the battle rifle can kill a shotgun before the shotgun can even fire off two shots!!! my points in a summary, shouldn't the shotgun be more powerful, have more range, and pump faster? After all its not that realistic how badly it sucs. Shotguns even with today's technology (let alone 500 yrs from now***) have a lot better range, power, and u can definetely pump 'em faster. Thanx BUNGIE!

Well if someone quits pretty much the only thing you can do is report them under cheating and just before the game starts just tell everyone that if they quit you WILL report them.

i know you said that constant quitting was as bad as cheating, since the updates and stat resets, i have seen more people quitting games than ever. they will quit right from the start if t hey dont like the game or map, or if the other team scores and it looks hopeless... quit. its getting really bad and even more annoying. anything you can do?

You care nothing for the balance of the game. Had the update actually worked toward the original balance of weapons that was there before, you would be crying your head off due to your LACK of skill. Telling me that you can't measure up to others unless you spawn with a battle rifle is more than proof of that. Do you have skill with the battle rifle? I'm not going to argue against that at all. Who's to say? I have skill with the battle rifle, but it isn't my favorite weapon. And I'm not a pro with it, so I'm sure if you had a battle rifle, and I had a battle rifle out on an open field, you'd own me. Congrats. But I can damn near name as FACT that if the new patch wasn't in effect, I could come up with ways to take you down with weapons that ARE in my skill set. Unfortunately, that is no longer a possiblity. I'm doomed to a lack of options, and a weapon that I've never really excelled at compared to the pros. And that means I lack in skill? I don't think so. I think that means that the players as a majority lack creativity and skill if they want the game to compose of only one weapon. And it's a damn shame that Bungie would modify a work of art to fit the perceptions of the art lovers. I write in my spare time, and I've published two novels. I would NEVER modify my novels just because my readers wanted it changed. I'm the author, I'm the creator, and they can either LIKE it, or do something else. Those that like it as it is should not be punished by those who DON'T. As is the case here. I've been punished for liking the game for what it was, because you were too immature to move on, and that's just plain STUPID.

i never had much problem online since the last playlist change but a couple of days ago it was so bad that i had to shoot a guy with the same color as me but a gamertag from the opposing team. now thats a complaint, but it came and went and i havent experienced it again. i only have 4 complaints 1: where's the covenant green rocket thingy? 2: where's the atv? the ghost needs some compitition! 3: dual wielding grenades? 16 pinecones would be fun! 4: old levels in preview makes no sence to me. ****ONLY NOOBS CANT AIM**** you have to be able to use all weapons, not just one. the game is sick. if your tired of getting killed right after spawn, learn to use cover. i cant be the only one who uses cover can i?
