Stuff I Write.

So I do a lot of writing in my spare time. Mostly it's of the games I play. So, due to the demand of about 15 people, (lol) I've decided to post all the shit I write. I'm keeping it mostly appropriate (No, I don't do THAT kind of writing…) so it should be fine here on the forums. And yes it is destiny related. Well, here goes. First I'll start off with a good ol Skyrim piece I wrote. It's kind of long lol Chapter One: John Back in the oldest of the old times, the beginning of recorded history, the First Era, there was the continent of Atmora. It was the place where all human and beast races came from. Well, the Nords of Atmora, a tall and fair-haired people, set off to find land elsewhere, and make new life. When these Nords arrived, they set a colony, later to be called Skyrim, and the whole land, to be called Tamriel. Among these Nords was a man, a man named John. Now, John's parents were long dead, since he was eleven, they had both had passed in a tragic murder by a group of bandits. John was now seventeen, and took this journey to get away from the sad land he called home. Little did John know, this would change his entire life. All 4,826 years of it. Chapter two: A Start 2 years had passed since his arrival in Tamriel, and John had made a decent living, and an honest one at that, chopping lumber for the harbor workers. At that time, it was a terribly important job, paying much more than the sums of today. He built himself a house in a town closer to the mainland, moving with his work. He lived a good simple life, and he was proud. All was peaceful. One night, John went for a walk in the dark, clearing his mind for the day ahead. He walked through the darkness, carefree. He soon heard a noise in the distance, and so this is where our story, truly, begins. "Hello John.", a voice uttered through the darkness, chilling enough to scare and frighten even the toughest of souls. "Who's there?" He replied, quivering and stuttering. "Show yourself!" He screamed into the darkness. "Calm down, there is no need to be frightened.", a sly, eerie voice uttered back. "All I ask is that you listen to a deal I have for you.", the man said. John thought about this for a while, he'd seen unusual things in his time here so far. In fact, one time he had even observed a tree on fire, but when he ran to fetch a bucket to put it out, he returned to find the tree was perfectly fine, and passed it off as his mind playing tricks on him. So he thought, and decided he would at least consider it, whoever this man was. "Okay, show yourself, we can make a deal." A man stepped out of the dark, almost rolling as a shadow does with each step. "I've been looking for someone like you, John. Someone strong enough to bear fearsome power with vicious ferocity. And now I have found one capable enough of wielding a power in which no other can. I can offer you the power to change the world, power that can make all else look as if it didn't matter. I offer you the power of a god. What do you say, John? Is it a deal?" John looked almost dumbfounded by an offer of this magnitude. "At what cost?", he replied. "Just your soul John, a trivial and insignificant piece to you as a being. What will it be, John?" Edit 1: Here's a couple of Destiny pieces. You teleport off your ship as it flies to the tower hangar. You go about your business as usual and your dear friend greets you as you both talk about your travels beyond. Suddenly, the skies darken, a storm circles over, lighting can be seen, and thunder heard. You see the way the Lightning contrasts heavily on the dark sky. The clouds open up slightly directly over the tower and a tomb ship comes flying in, the clouds closing up behind it. A dark skeletal hive knight with bat like wings descends from the ship. In a dark, booming voice, the godlike creature speaks to you. "You are the one who killed my son. He should be so reckless. You are a brave one guardian, with many achievements to your name. But nothing will prepare you for what I will do to you, but not here, no. You will come find me." You stare back and with little fear, reply. "And just what would make me do that?" Oryx almost smiles as he taunts you back. "This" He wraps his claw around your friends' neck as he brandishes his sword from seemingly nowhere. He smiles at you, and proceeds to pierce your friend with his blade, squeezing the life from him. His ghost appears nearby, and Oryx grabs it and crushes it with a firm grip. You watch it all and scream, "You son of a bitch!" As you draw your fatebringer and Fire a few successive shots which appear to do nothing. "So, Guardian. Think you can kill a god?" He laughs as he tosses your friends body away. The Speaker comes running in from the Tower North. "Go! Away from this place! Now!" Oryx turns around and replies. "And so you continue to lie to them. Have you told them the difference between true light and the illusion of power you give them? The hole of lies you've dug yourself so far down that you cannot get out anymore? Then so be it. Come find me guardian, and we'll finish this on my terms. Goodbye, Speaker, until we meet again." He continues laughing as he exits the tower. You know now that this God has to die. And you and five others will bring upon his death. And after you're done, a talk with the speaker wouldn't be a bad idea. The voices…back again…why won't they just go away…I'm not crazy…Go. Away. "Hey! Snap out of it! We're pulling up on the mothership right now so I need you to do a com check, over." You snap to your radio and reply back. "I'm hearing you loud and clear, over." You open your channel so that everyone in your team can hear you, and you start to speak. "Alright everyone, I know this won't be easy, but it has to be done. If I could do this alone I would, but I just can't. You already know why we're here, and I have no idea what will be inside this gods' palace, but as long as we stay together and work like a team, it shouldn't be a problem. Alright, follow my heading, I'm goin-" You're cut off mid sentence and a huge boom rattles your ship. A flash of blue light slams itself down in front of your ship, and you black out. When you awake, you're standing on what seems like a desert. None of your team can be seen, it's just you. Suddenly, a floating man dressed in a full black trench coat appears in front of you, and he starts to speak. "Hello Guardian. Now, I was passing through time and space, and such and such, when I couldn't help but notice what you were doing." He had a slightly tan face, long black hair, and a slight beard accompanied by a short smile. "And it become blatantly obvious that what you're doing is heroic, but stupid. You are not nearly strong enough to beat Oryx, and you just burst in like that? I mean come on Guardian, I expected more from you." You stand there in awe. After a few seconds, you start to speak back. "And just who are you?" "Oh, sorry about that, my name is Asriel, the Last Architect. Well, former Architect. Anyway, I know what you're about to do, and I'm here to tell you that in your current state, Oryx would rip you limb from limb. But, there are some powers you have yet to unlock. Join me, and I'll give you the tools you need to kill a god. What do you say? Don't think too long, I've heard gods can get quite impatient." You stand there, realizing that he's right. You can't do this in your current state. It's your only choice. You look up at him. "Fine. I guess I don't really have a choice, do I?" "If you want to kill a god? I'm afraid not. Oh, by the way, when I send you through time, don't move. You'll be disintegrated along with your ghost. Either way, say hi to Osiris for me!" You try and scream back, he's summoned a portal and he's hurling you through it, and the only words you can get out are "What do you mean?! Osiri-"
