So this is a video of No Man's Sky. It's planets, exploration and Life are what I expected of Destiny. I think this game is missing this. It's missing a sense of going and finding new things/places. It's missing life other than the things we are KILLING. It's missing different planets and landscapes and things to do beyond kill. In Destiny there are hundreds if not thousands of Caves/rooms but in them is nothing other than a chest (randomly). No cave art, no story behind why its there, nothing to collect or mine, nothing but an empty space and wasted opportunity. I can't tell you how cool it feels to find some of these but be let down by there being nothing in them. Why go through the trouble of making them all but making them pointless? most of them don't even act as spawn for enemies. In Destiny the wildlife is limited to a few birds, dragonflies and dragons/ahamkaras(maybe). You can't interact with any of them and the planets are dead. No alien life thats friendly or thats just alive and minding it's own business. Where is it all? Is the traveler just a merchant of death and we are it's hitmen? In Destiny we have Earth (russia only at the moment), earth's moon, Mars and Venus. Our space ships are wasted. We don't go anywhere else and most of the landscapes are bland. For a game like this and like it's concept art we have strayed so far away from the initial vision it seems. In conversations with creators they briefly hint on this saying something to the effect of we have 10 years to go so you'll eventually get to other places. Is that how you wan't your game? bland and boring for years on end until later when you add more? if players are logging hours a day yet your planet is 30 mins deep to explore don't you think you need more for people to do in those hours they log or would you rather them burn themselves out? What do you guys think? I'd love to have destiny gameplay/items weapons enemies in the No Mans Sky universe. If not that I'd love to see Destiny evolve beyond it's current for into more than go here and kill this. Give me places to go and things to do and see that don't just envolve fighting. Let me learn about the world and it's history from exploration and finding things. Let dinklebot scan caves or items and him tell me a story about what went on there or what the area is about. GIVE US MORE TO DO AND SEE IN THIS WORLD.........
