Anyone who has recently played ToO knows what a pain these have become. They're easy to dodge but if one hits you it can turn the tide of a game. In a way not intended- a player is able to rack up half his super energy via using a certain perk, especially stacked. But outside of this glitch, or trick, or whatever you call it- swarms are absolutely terrible. They can be shot. They have a short fuse. Small aoe. Wimpy damage. So here's a proposition: 1. Fix Ashes to Asset to only proc on kills, as stated. 2. Make Swarm Grenades tactically unique- "Swarm Grenade projectile hits give slight super energy". Notice that it says slight. As in slight. That way, even though Swarms are outclassed in Damage, AOE, and fuse time by tripmines, they'll have a niche. Even though they do less damage, have less range, and are just plain worse than Incendaries- they'll have a niche. Notice that I sakd "slight". Let me remind you once more- "slight" "niche". Note the poll has no "op" option as this would be nowhere near as op as the glitch. I think I've already referenced "slight" enough but I can do it again if you guys want. I feel this would turn swarms into a rather tactical grenade, rather than a slab of cheese as they are with AtA.
