Reporting Players

I was reading a thread about reporting players if need be, but then I thought about something. What should we do if the person we are trying to report is no longer in the game? For example, the roster screen will only show people in your fireteam, and in the same area as you (Cosmodrome- Steppes, Skywatch, etc.) but if someone were booted from a team right after the Final Boss in the Prison of Elders (There's been a few instances) how would they use the in-game reporting system? The offending player would not show up on the roster screen, so what is a Guardian to do? I think someone mentioned that they were playing ToO against someone that was determined to be a cheater, but when he went to report Player B, he wasn't on the roster screen (probably logged out). What would be the most effective course of action in cases like these?

  • You can see recently "played with" players in the Xbox menu. PSN may have something similar. You can also confirm the player name in your recent games either on the app or Bungie.net or destinytracker.com
