Say whaaaaaat?! Sign in issues

I've recently purchased House of Wolves for Xbox 360 but every time I try to sign in to Destiny I get an error message saying "Expansion content must be present on your xbox 360 hard drive in order to be played. Please exit the game and transfer your expansion content to the Xbox 360 hard drive and try again" I checked the hard drive and it lists both expansions as well as 4 compatibility packs and my profile saves. I have tried deleting everything and re-downloading it, clearing the cache on the xbox, installing Destiny directly to the hard drive from disc, running a license transfer to make sure everything is up to date but nothing seems to work - I always get stuck at the sign in screen. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Am I missing something? Thanks for any help in advance, A slightly frustrated guardian :)
