Disclaimer. I have both weapons and use them often in crucible.I am not hear to complain or wine, just to give my opinion on something i see discussed often. So i hate posts thats only purpose is to complain and wine just as much as the next guy. When i see these posts what i read is that they think there opinion is scripture and anything that kills you is instantly "OP" and should become a Nerf gun. These posts about the last word and thorn nerfs, however annoying they may be, show that there is the constant thought about change. These are simply my ideas on how they could change Thorn I believe that a decrease in the rate of fire but an increase to the magazine size and a decrease to reload speed would make the the thorn perfect. It would make time to kill on par with most exotics while increasing it's damage over time potential The last word My idea is that if the range of the last word was decreased a good amount but its hip fire spread was smaller that it would be more balanced. (or replace it with the halo 1 magnum \( ö )/ )This would make it a close/close-mid range powerhouse that has its own role rather than being able to duel anything at any range and win. side notes i believe/agree that auto rifles need a buff.
