Matchmaking, bring it to the tower

So I have been trolling the forums for a couple days now, I must admit I quit playing after I beat the rather unimpressive Dark Below missions. I must also admit up front I hate the PvP, it's just boring, and I have yet to play the raids. With all that out of the way I want to open with this. If you like my idea then don't just bump(I mean definitely bump to keep the idea alive) start a new topic of your own with a title similar to 'bring matchmaking to the tower' OR 'Matchmaking rooms in the tower' etc. Matchmaking has been a huge issue since launch of Destiny, I stand firmly on the side of it is needed since there are events that average players (like myself) can't beat without help. I don't want to force my noobishness on anyone else, nor do I want to see people being taken advantage of and someome sit idle while someone else does all the work. So that's where this idea comes from. Specialized rooms inside the tower for matchmaking. If you don't wish to read a wall of text this paragraph is the jist of my post. Make a room for each game type that players can enter and KNOW that the others in the roommate looking to group up for the same event. Raids, Strikes, Weekly, Nightfall, Daily, and Grinding. Why you ask? Simple, Bungie made a game that requires grouping up to experience and beat all of their game. They need to quit half a$$ing and allow the other 80%(I can't find the link currently but it was stated that only 19% of players have finished the VoG, could also be an old source, point still stands) to experience what players are saying is the best part of Destiny. Specialized rooms will essentially destroy any argument against matchmaking, how? Because it's not forced matchmaking, it's completely optional. Also it will prevent starting a game with someone that is afk, you can make sure they are there before you ever group up. The tower is a great idea that(in my opinion) was poorly executed. It fails as a social hub because there's no real way to interact with others, and it's a completely random group of people, no sort of meaningful grouping. Adding this sort of item to Destiny will only increase satisfaction for your player base. Your raids (arguably the best that Destiny offers to date) would finally be opened up to the rest of your player base giving them less time to gripe about issues. TL:DR - Specialized rooms for matchmaking would make matchmaking an optional component that doesn't force unwanted players on others. It opens up a new social environment. Prevents afk joiners. Adds to the tower. And will open up the game to those players that either have less time or less online friends without impacting your desire to have players create meaningful groups. It can only help increase the popularity of your game. Once again if you like this idea bump of course, but also start your own topic with a similar title and if you don't want to type a wall of text just link mine ;-)
