Slight Auto Rifle Buff Please!
Dear Bungie,
The auto rifles in Destiny seem almost painfully underpowered as of current. Reports say they were nerfed to balance out their high damage potential. This may have worked a bit too well. The auto rifles now have a serious lack-luster damage range. almost all other primaries out DPS an auto rifle of equal level and rarity at all but the most extreme ranges. This is only made worse by the fact that auto rifles tend to have a meager range.
An ever-so-slight buff to their impact is what they need. They do not need to return to their original lethality, but they still need to be better than they are now, especially with the future level increases.

1 ReplyIts a mystery why Bungie would render Auto Rifles useless, specifically in PvP. Bungie has fixed one problem but created a bigger one when the buffed Pules, Hand Cannons and Shot guns and nerf AR. To what end may i asked. I never thought a in a million years that i would have my Suros stored in my vault for months without use. I have worked so hard to acquire these weapons "Suros, Monte Carlo, Necrocasm, etc" and now their are no match for Red Death, Last Word, Thorn and even Time on Target (Legenday weapon). So Bungie, what you should have done is never Nerf the ARs in the first place, but should have buffed the other weapons to match the ARs. No weapon should be dramatically over powering any other, so fix this shit Bungie, NOW. Regards, Quincy

2 RepliesNo, a slight buff is nowhere near enough, they NEED to be fully reverted to stand any semblance of a chance. Right now, pulse rifles are stronger than pre-nerf auto rifles, and Thorn/TLW/Hawk just vaporize everything.

1 ReplyThe past two nerfs made them useless. Now hunters are unstopable and their exotic perks and coming exotic perks make them op and the titan who the ar suits the best is left wwith nothing.

4 Repliestotally agree I could live with the first nerf but the second one was totally unnecessary. the second nerf was solely based on popularity so if that's the case the hand cannons shotguns and puls rifles all should be nerfed right I mean bungie nerrfed the auto rifle on that premises seems fair right and before someone comes in and says you need to learn to shoot or something along that line I do use other guns I just prefer the auto rifle over them

What kind of idiot messes up the most used gun in Abby first person shooter. All because they wanted to boost up pulse rifles which will kill you in two damn hits now. This game is so unbalanced they need to put everything back to where it was before and stop nerfing weapons in a first person shooter game.
