have been playing a bit of bloodborne, and these are a really great idea, they have extra enemies and weapon drops that are not available in the main game (a bit like raids in destiny), but they are also procedurally generated for the individual player, so each one is unique
imagine a vault of glass type environment that is procedurally generated with the ability to get legendary weapons (vanguard or faction) with random perks
you can also share chalice dungeons with other players and invite them in to play with you
something like this might go a long way to giving real re-playability to Destiny

Look at Diablo 3, Torchlight, etc. Those games did this first. Been saying it for a while, but there are soooooo many games that have done loot the right way - whether it be MMOs, shooters, hack and slash, etc..... there are fantastic examples from several genres. For Bungie to completely ignore all of that and come up with some custom system that just sucks as much shit as this one is completely mind boggling. "hi. I made Halo. I have a revolutionary idea for a loot system that ignores everything good about the best existing systems while emphasizing all the bad things those other systems had already fixed. " Seriously? I love Bungie but they got in way over their head with the RPG/MMO elements and whoever raised their hand and said, "i can do that" should be fired and whoever agreed and let it happen should be fired too.
