Hasn't happened in awhile...

Today I got banned from a zombies server because I killed the admin. Cool story. Yes it's going to be one of those threads. It happened on one of the Alpha Team Gamers zombies servers. Those guys are awesome sauce. Sigh. So in the first game, I was a zombie on Death Island. Humans in the water, and I was croutching towards some humans in the water, slowly bit by bit. Just as I've gotten very close, about to stand up and pounce, I get kicked. OK. BTW, this admin had been doing a lot of stuff like giving out invisibility to people, overshields, and he reset the game a few times, which was annoying. So after getting kicked, I come back into the server and ask why I was kicked. "lol, y was i kicked?" He said I was afk. I ask him, are you sure. He says, no that's what the server said. Long story short: I kinda berated him. I didn't swear, but just sort of drove the point home that he kicked me without cause. He didn't say a word. We enter the next game, and we are both human. I ran by him and meleed him on the head, whatever. He doesn't say anything, I don't say anything, and time goes by. Later he is infected. We have a close encounter, I have a shotgun, he dies, and INSTABAN! So, yeah, I take responsibility for agitating him a bit, but all's I'm sayin' is that banning someone from a server because you got pwnd in a frustrating manner is about as low as it gets. It's like taking your ball and going home because you got beat. And if anyone from Alpha Team Gamers reads this forum, this guy was playing as "Hercules." [Edited on 06.26.2012 3:50 PM PDT]

 •
Posted by: Barnacle_Blast
... and I think you're getting it backwards. An enormous amount of people riding on the "Halo Portable" train invaded Halo PC and caused it to be a place where most respectable players didn't want to stick around. It's not normal for a game to only have terrible players when it loses most of its population. In fact, it's supposed to have the opposite. In the end, no matter how you look at it, the population being down (Which in reality it isn't anyway) has nothing to do with the quality when, under normal circumstances, it should help the quality. If we had 100,000 more people buying Halo PC today we would just have 70,000 more players playing Rocket CTF on Hang 'Em High. [Edited on 06.29.2012 3:37 PM PDT]
