How sick would it be to take a rare weapon, obtain a legendary upgrade material thing through a raid or strike, stick it to a rare, and viola! your rare has just become a legendary! This would mirror the upgrade process of Necrochasm more or less. Some of the rares are visually and statistically more appealing than many legendary's (I'm looking at you Stalker BNGL) and would love to use these weapons in higher end content. Bump for the possibility the idea may have a chance to possibly be seen by a developer who thinks it's a good idea but will never actually implement it in the game :)
