making auto rifles and hand canons weaker at range just means close range weapons such as shotguns and fusion rifles will be more effective against them.
the nerf of these weapons is no more than a ohk weapon buff by weakening your defences against them.
we shall see when the nerfs and buffs are implemented, but I can see it being an easier time for shot gunnerS and fusion rifle users as you may not be able to take them out at range as easily..............shot gun slide just got buffed.
Also it is said in the notes that fusion rifle are not intended to be pre charged.....how are they going to stop that with constant radar on......no radar for fusion rifle users maybe...doubt it...but would be one way of reducing pre charging aROUND CORNERS

Pre charging is a skilled form of using a fusion rifle. If no one ever pre charged then fusion rifles would be traded in for the instant gratification of a shot gun (which still seems to hit hard at distance to put a hand cannon out of business). As far as nerfing hand cannons anymore, i feel the sting every time i use my already under powered super. Hand cannons are supposed to hit hard. They have the slowest fire rate. All primaries should shoot the same distance. Its primary status means its as effective as the others. Skill comes to mind. It takes skill to line up shots and hand cannons should not be punished for people being good shots. Scout rifle is the same way. The advantage a scout rifle has over a hand cannon is its easy spot sight. Unless hand cannons are getting a new sight it shouldn't be touched anymore. Shot guns hit too far for a gun that should have a different stat in place for range. Spread should be a stat. That is why shot guns are still over used. It still takes no aiming skill to one hit someone and the rang they can do that is directly related to the zero difference they have with shot spray. A shot gun with tight spray is going to hit farther but if they are off a little its not going to hit as easy. A shot gun with wide spread will hit but will not hit much unless they are very close to target.

Mythoclast is a fusion rifle.. Wouldn't that be good then? Could be better than the suros after the patch.

They are nerfing shotguns range and spreading the cone of the FR so it's harder to hit a 1 shot kill at range as well.

I can see it now more people are going to use pulse rifles and the threads of pulse rifles needing a nerf will start.

Everything but rockets, machine guns and snipers got a nerf, pulse rifles got a buff.

They got buffed in PVE. Did you even read the update?
