Exotic shader issue

I find it incredibly frustrating that exotic armour items are not affected by the shader you apply. Why? What possible reason would a developer implement this customisation limiting feature? I am sure the community would appreciate an explanation... We were promised customisation and many feel that there is not enough variation, many call for a transmog feature, which can change the skin of your armour item so that you can look as you wish, I also feel this would be an important and beneficial feature. But certainly at least when you apply a shader to have the colour scheme you enjoy, this absolutely should apply to exotic armour as well. Please sort this out Bungie/devs. Thank you, please rate up if you agree.

 • The way I see it, Exotics are suppposed to look, well, EXOTIC. They have their own patterns/designs/whatever else. Thus, they are one-of-a-kind. It'd be like asking for the Mona Lisa, but dressed in a red dress. It wouldn't be the same. My suggestion? Find shaders that work with your exotic of choice.
