Activision Realized

Decided to go to Activision's website today. After browsing the games they've released in the past I quickly realized our hopes for Destiny were terribly misplaced. I knew Activision had a bad reputation, but I didn't know the extent until I saw games like Wipeout Transformers All of the Dj, Guitar, and Band Heroes Skylanders CoD of course Now I'm not saying all of these games are crap, however they are all... ALL designed to be long drawn out cash cows. Look at Skylanders, the biggest money sink since Beanie Babies! I will also add that none of these games had a leg to stand on when it came to storyline. The only way Destiny survives is if Bungie nuts up and takes back control of their game. IT'S YOUR GAME! Save it! If our theory of Activision is incorrect then that simply means both companies (Bungie and Activision) have lost sight of the art of video games as a whole. You have many of the parts guys, but in this genre community/developer communication and honesty is paramount to the finished masterpiece. I say again, SAVE YOUR GAME, and let this masterpiece be realized!

Read up on the CEO of Activision. He doesn't care about games or customers he cares about money. I don't know what happened to Destiny before it launched but I do feel like Activision did some hefty shoving, they're known for that after all, and as a result we got the best version of Destiny that existed at the time. You have to keep in mind Bungie has a ten year contract with Activision that actually became active(if that applies) in like 2008. Given Activisions past and overall business models, whatever Destiny was supposed to be was moving too slowly for them especially since they care more about bottom lines than art or player experience. In your post you named the better known games Activision has put out, look at the lesser known titles, that's where you'll find the value of their publishing habits. Try any Spider-Man or X-men game of the last 6 years. They are all train wrecks. Activision sells names, not games. At least, that's been my observation.
