A REAL Control Mode

Control. Oh, Control, Control, Control... You call this mode "Control" yet there'd be no progression or competition if not for the all-out deathmatch aspect to it. Controlling a zone gains more points on each kill, which means you still need to kill to get more points. This also implies that a team could win without any zones, so long as they get a lot of kills and little deaths. What I want is a Control mode similar to Conquest in Battlefield. A Control where you hold a zone to gain points, not hold zones to get more points on a kill. A Control that would introduce a lot more tactics, like patience. As Control where you could sit and wait with only one zone locked down while the other had two, but still win because you had a large gain in points. Of course, killing could still come into play, but the current Control is just a variation of deathmatch. Kill enemies, get points. Sit in a circle to get more points per kill. A new Control that would add one point to your score every second for each zone controlled. One zone would give you one point per second. Two for two points. Three for three points. Then, the killing part could come into play. Similar to the "tickets" in Battlefield, each kill would deduct one point from the enemy score, or add one point to your score. In this fashion, it is more based on the controlling factor of it, rather than the killing. One point per second to three points per second is a much faster method of acquisition for points. Even a spectacular team couldn't earn one kill per second. Then, you could focus it on the controlling concept even further. This would be done by choosing whether to deduct a point from the enemy score or add one to your score. Deduction would reduce the enemy score, giving you a slight advantage. Although you still advance in the distance behind or ahead, you do not gain any extra points. This would make it impossible to win without control over at least one zone. Adding a point would advance your position, but allow a win without control. Although no one can get one kill per second, a way of preventing their quick acquisition of points is to defend the points. In this fashion, the game could be theoretically won without control over a zone. So obviously, the better choice for a game type based on controlling would be deduction. Control over a zone would be extremely crucial to this game type, though it is less so in the current version. The points could be even further tweaked, by adding locations of high value which would give you more points per second for having control over it. The kills could also be tweaked in a similar fashion. Adding targets of high value (the MVP) that deduct points even further when killed could add a sense of fear when at the top, or of responsibility. The ideal Control game type:
Six versus six teams. (variable) Control over a zone gains points. Each zone gains one point per second, which is multiplied by the number of zones controlled. Points of high value that give extra points per second (rather than just one). (variable) Killing an enemy deducts one point from the enemy score. Targets of high value that deduct extra points (rather than just one). (variable) Point limit of 800-1000 points. (variable) Time limit of 10 minutes. (variable) If the timer runs out, the team with a higher score wins.
So, tell me what you guys think. Is this a good idea? Would you like it over the current Control? What would you change?
