TLW or Hawkmoon?
I got TLW fully upgraded, and I'm pretty decent with it. But I have not gotten my hands on the Hawkmoon yet. Is it worth all the hype, and is it better than TLW?
TLW is a close quarter handcannon, it's really good if you like more intense situations. I've heard that Hawkmoon is more like a sniper?
What's your favourite and why?
TLW rips through the enemies in PvP, I'm almost always last one standing in a duel.

Fatebringer, Timur's Lash or Word of Crota?
I got the Timur's lash from the Iron Banner event, and I reforged it like 15 times (2 motes of light/reforge) until I got the attributes I wanted. Now it's a beast, I got explosive rounds and crowd control. It blows everything up, really quick. And it takes 3 shots to kill someone in the crucible.
What's your take on this Guardian?

Just got the fatebringer the other night. I'm trying to lvl it up. The firefly perk is pretty nice :) clears out crowds pretty fast

And in the light, trumpets were sounding, and gently descending was this beautiful, shimmering, wonderful piece of craftsmanship called [i]Hawkmoon.[/i].. Every time I fire, the sound of angelic chorus sings from the barrel into the heads of darkness. They cannot handle the light so they explode in a symphony of pain. A tragedy Xbox gamers do not get to experience that, but they are spared from the giant turd that is the 4th horseman, the one weapon that makes NLB look like a Gjallahorn. That should answer your question. And I only have the WoC, so I go with WoC until I can compare. It is a fantastic handcannon for sure.

1 ReplyPvP, TLW is the best primary in the game! Legendary is definitely Timurs Lash! Fatebringer isn't very good in PvP.. But is a God in PvE!

Tlw. I don't have hawkmoon but I do have thorn and tlw. Ttk for the last word is insane at short range. Makes crouching noob hidden shotgun kids cry and fusion rifles don't even get a chance to charge at the speed this thing kills at.

I find myself using thorn, and the last word more than my hawkmoon, and my hawkmoon was the first exotic hand cannon I fully leveled. I like the faster rate of fire on thorn and tlw, tlw I have more fun with and you will usually walk away from a 1v1 the winner. So my ranking goes, thorn, tlw, then hawkmoon. Just because I like faster rof hand cannons

Word of Crota. Fatebringer is not that good in PvP and Timur's fires about as fast as old people -blam!-. Although one with luck in the chamber is OK. And Hawkmoon.

Edited by area51agent: 3/6/2015 11:46:32 PMWith the hawkmoon, there's a chance of 2-hit killing a guardian, even with like 1 body shot. Just one needs to be lucky... But TLW is probably better for pvp, (have it, but haven't used it enough to get a feel for it) TBH the Hawkmoon is a bit overrated. I rarely use it anymore even after maxing it. I prefer other weapons in my exotic slot (icebreaker/truth, maybe Gjallahorn if I ever get it...)
