ESO Drops Sub Fee in place of console launch

June, ESO Will launch on consoles as a buy to play title dropping the sub fee, for me, this might be enough to fill that 6 month gap between HoW and Comet
Will anyone else be trying ESO?

1 ReplyShame. Sub fees are the best system for the long term health of an MMO. Look at Eve online, 11 years old and it's better than ever with a major update every 6 weeks. The scope and depth of that game is truly mind boggling. Compare that to the "free to the play/pay to win" model, which just destroys the integrity and immersion of a game, or the simple "buy to play" model that Destiny uses which, as we can see, leads to no real development of the game and a lack of impetus from the developers.

I'll give it another chance if the sub fee is gone and some of the more glaring issues have been fixed. Was a major disappointment for pc sadly.

Everything I read about it is bad, I'm hurting lol all other elder scrolls games are highlights in gaming for me.

Played the beta on PC, was heavily involved in The Old Republic at that time though so I never bought the full game. So it's funny that I was just thinking the other day some good old sword and sorcery sounds like a nice change of pace after all this Sci-Fi gaming. I'll be checking it out.

Played it on pc for a few months and really enjoyed it, none of my friends would try it and it eventually got boring playing alone.

I am buying it now. I've always a real console mmo and even though the beta wasn't the greatest, it'll do. I had two pets as a summoner and loved the quests.
