AFK Exploit? (enter fireteam chat and depart)
I was wondering if anyone else has come across this and if it is some type of exploit. You enter a strike, a member of the matchmaking fireteam enters fireteam chat and then departs. You play the rest of the strike, never getting a replacement player. Based on how often this pattern is repeated, I'm assuming they're going AFK and collecting the rewards from the strike.

It always says "x entered fireteam chat" when someone leaves a strike, or leaves the tower. It's just someone leaving cause they didn't want to do the strike. Not to mention, if someone departs, that means they've left the game. Can't get rewards from a game your not in. If they were AFKing, they'd be standing at the start doing nothing.

It's happened to me, but I ended up getting a replacement.
